Running, out of breath. Darkness surrounded me. Everywhere I looked it was nothing but darkness. When I stopped running, I heard someone else running after me. So I kept running. Never stopping to look behind me and never slowing down. Everything was out of my reach. Going to the pond, I lost my way and he started chasing me. And he didn't stop. Every now and then I looked up to see the hawk flying just above me. And sometimes, he wasn't even there. It was cold, lonely. I found a cave to hide in and heard the creature run by the cave. I breathed out a sigh and relaxed my muscles. "How long can I stay hidden here?" I asked myself.

"Not long." A male voice said, covering my mouth and biting into my neck.

I screamed and jerked up. I was in my room. Jace looked at me like I was crazy. I clearly woke him up. "I-I'm sorry. Go back to sleep Jace. I'm going to start coffee." I said, moving out of bed.

Jace grabbed my wrist and pulled me back down with him. He then wrapped me in his arms and kissed my forehead saying, "You are going nowhere Lumina." He held me tightly and closed his eyes again. I smiled a little. The big and bad Jace was so cute, so innocent when he slept. I watched him as he fell back to sleep, smiling.

"How could I of ever hated you." I chuckled lightly, not wanting to wake him again. I looked at the ceiling, remembering the dream I have just awoken from. Being bit in my neck... It felt cold. Painful even. It was nothing like Jace's bite which was warm and welcoming. I chewed on my lip until I heard Jace mumble. I looked at him and smiled again. I reached my hand to his head and started to pet him. His hair was so soft.

"Lumin... Lumina..." Jace mumbled ever so lightly. I strained my ears to hear his next words which were, "Run." He then hugged me tighter and frowned. "Don't... go..." he said next. I wondered what he was dreaming about. One minute telling me to run, the next to not go.

"I won't be going anywhere." I whispered to him. I then closed my eyes and tried to sleep as well.

When I woke up again, Jace was not in the room. His spot was cold which meant he has been gone for awhile. I raised up, squinting and the sunlight hit my eyes. The birds were chirping and water was rushing. It was a perfect morning. Then, the smell of cinnamon buns hit my nose. I rose out of bed and went to the kitchen, wrapping myself in the blanket from the bed. Jace was standing there, naked, taking buns out of the oven. "That's a health hazard."

Jace looked back at me and laugh. "Well I couldn't exactly find my shorts. What was your dream about today?" he said, setting the buns on the counter.

"I... I don't really know." I stuttered, sitting down.

"I see." Was all Jace said. He plated a bun for me and set it infront of me.

"Thank you Jace." I smiled, looking up at him.

He leaned down and kissed me, "Anything for you."

I smiled and poked at the bun. It was morning, but I lost my appetite in my dream. "Hey, Jace, can I skip breakfast today?"

"Yeah, sure. Why might I ask?" Jace asked.

"I'm just not hungry. I appreciate the thought but I just need to go for a walk." I replied, getting up from my seat.

"Well before you go anywhere, you need to get dressed. No one is aloud to see my beauty naked." Jace said, coming to me and wrapping his arms around me.

"Silly Jace. About a month ago you hated me." I laughed. I hated him myself too, but his beauty and kindness eventually drew me close when they shone through. Now I faced a possessive hottie who loved me for me.

"I never wanted to hate you. Please forgive me, Lumina." Jace whispered.

"Of course Jace. Now, can you let me go so I can get dressed?" I chuckled.
