introduction (?)

hey there! my name is areum. kim areum. and i guess you can say i'm your typical youtube your typical youtuber. i post videos of my slightly but not entirely interesting life filled with my family and friends.

my family consists of seven people. five siblings. three girls, two boys. i'm the middle child. not sure if that's so great or not. but here, i'll be nice and give you guys a quick introduction of the people in my life.

kim seokjin. twenty-nine. the eldest amongst us all. kidding, just us five of course. if i were to use one word to describe him, it would be overprotective. he's always on full protective brother mode with the rest of us four. even when he started his own famiky, he still makes sure every single one of us was doing fine. and that's what i love so much about him. but of course we still have our little love/hate sibling relationship going on. who doesn't?

kim nari. twenty-five. second child of the family. the most intelligent and most kindest. my family is known as the family full of brains, but shes quite something else. miss girl got an in of 145. sadly she comes second after our cousin namjoon. some people may also know her as the valedictorian during both her high school and college years. and just recently, she's been married to who she calls "the love of her life." i'm honestly happy for her as long as she's happy with her new life.

kim areum. almost twenty-three. not too brag but i like to think i'm the most favored person in my family. nah i'm just kidding. but i do like to sing and maybe post some song covers during my free time. i'm also a youtuber with 5 million subscribers and with 1.7 million followers on instagram.

kim bora. nineteen. out of us five, me and bora tend to become more alike. we both share the same sense of humor too, probably from being on tiktok a little too much. some people mistaken us two more often though. some people's first impression of us being together is always "are you two twins?" of course not so i always end up being the one to reply and say "haha, no. i'm actually three years older. do i look young?" then flashing them a charming smile. usually the person would only laugh but sometimes they'd sadly just blankly stare at me. but overall, i love her. she's our little sunshine and will always be there for any of us to make sure we all stay happy.

kim hwan. seventeen. sporty and sociable. he could get along with practically anyone. but of course, he still remains as the baby in the family no matter how old he gets or what he says. as his older siblings, we give him hugs and kisses as much as possible because one, we love him to bits, and two, he's going through those few years of his life when he doesn't want to be as affectionate with his family as much as he used to and we all want to annoy him as much as possible.

and of course we can't forget about the two beautiful humans that created these five beautiful babies. The amazing kim chul and kim kyung-mi. both currently fifty-seven. possibly the best parents ever?? despite both of them being busy business workers, they still manage to make time for all of us. my father is such joyful person, while my mother is kind but seems to be more serious to the eyes of others. the only people that actually gets to see her true self is her closest family. which she would sometimes just let herself go when she's with us and act freely. makes us wonder how she's possibly the same person she is in front of others.

jeon soyoung. twenty-five. one of the bestest people i've ever met honestly. she's been with me through ups and downs and at this point is basically a sister to me. she's seen me cry, laugh, yell and everything else. i met her back in elementary from her little brother jungkook and we've been best friends ever since. i'm just so glad to have her in my life, don't know what i'd do without her.

jeon jeongguk. twenty-three. bestie since diaper days, basically. and as i mentioned, soyoung's younger brother. together we have the most fun doing the most randomest things. sadly, he had to move to America for family business and had to finish his studies there. which he did, though I'm not quite sure what that kid will be doing in America now that he's graduated. i haven't seen that dickhead in two years so of course i miss him a ton. oh, have I mentioned how he also really famous on social media? instagram, to be precise, with over 2.3m followers. though we may be diaper buddies, the past few years we done well hiding our friendship from our followers. why are we doing this? no good reason. just wanted to see the reactions of our followers lol.
