Food Fantasy Headcannons

🌸 Sakuramochi 🌸

I'm gonna start this off with my fave girl! She's so cheerful and positive and so PRETTY

By the way, I'm not really good at writing romance-based headcannons (though I try to) so you can expect to see less of them. Also, all these headcannons are mostly just my opinion so feel free to disagree :D

- According to the character info, she has sakura petals following her wherever she goes (I assume they spawn from the hems of her sleeves or something).

- Whenever she feels happy or excited, the sakura petals that fall are all bright and pink, but if she's sad or stressed, it's all dull and wrinkly.

- When she's working in the restaurant, she leaves a trail of sakura petals behind her as she works.

- Someone has to clean up the petals after working hours (it's normally Pudding's or Nasi Lemak's job, but she always thanks whoever that cleaned it up).

- If she's working in the restaurant, you can catch a whiff of sakura petals amidst the strong aromas of calamari skewers and grilled prawn.

- She likes walking over to sad customers and cheering them up by offering a greeting and casually chatting with them as she takes their order (yep, she's that kind of waitress).

- Her positivity in the restaurant really cheers up the staff as well, though it tends to get a bit annoying when she's the only one who's cheerful after a hard day of work.

- Her room is filled with cute trinkets and stuffed toys (not to mention the pastel pink wallpaper).

- The sakura petals in her room are some times too much for her to clean sometimes (especially when she's tired) so she just sweeps them under the rug.

- She somehow knows everyone's favourite thing or food and always surprises them with it.

- Same goes for birthday gifts and Christmas presents.

- She also keeps all this information in a pretty journal, along with the dates of everyone's birthdays.

- Just really, really kind in general.

- Also, she likes doing jigsaw puzzles.

- Other Food Souls like pulling pranks on her because she's so gullible (she literally could not recognize Dorayaki in a mustache and shades), and she doesn't mind.

- Really cares about others and acts like a big sister to the younger Food Souls (Gyoza, Tangyuan, Strawberry Daifuku... yeah, you get the picture)

- Taiyaki is her best friend.

- She's also the one always pulling pranks on her.

- Surprise hugs from behind are her thing.

- Likes pecking you on the cheeks when you're not looking, but gets really flustered when you do it.

- Flustered Sakuramochi = more petals

- She likes surprising you with your favourite food after a hard day's work, and this never fails to cheer you up (like I said, she knows).

- She drags you along to watch the cherry blossom trees blooming in the park during the season and you both have a fun time but you spent sixty percent of your time just looking at Sakuramochi's excited and smiling face because it just fills you with warmth.

- She's just so beautiful.

- Overall, A+ girlfriend material.
