Baby Steps (Taekook/Vkook, Yoonmin, Namjin )

PART 5

They arrived back at the house to full on wails and a harassed looking Hoseok and Jungkook.

“ Oh thank God- what the hell happened to him?” Hoseok said in alarm when he saw taehyung being carried into the house.

“ I'll explain later but right now Seokjin hyung needs help with the bags” Jimin explained.

“ Oh it's you guys, Tae!” Jungkook exclaimed,when he appeared  and for a second he forgets that he was holding a baby and Jimin watched in horror as he almost dropped nara in his haste to get to Taehyung.

Luckily Hoseok is there and he holds both of them in place. The shock of it all stuns the wailing Nara into silence and his dad too.

“Kookie, you really need to be careful” Yoongi reprimanded the still silent jungkook who has his eyes trained on taehyung.

“ he's fine jungkookie, just too much to drink” Jimin told him as he followed Yoongi who was already on the staircase with taehyung.  He was about to buckle from the weight.

“ he doesn't drink chim” Jungkook said quietly.

Jimin sighed.

“ I know”

Jimin and Yoongi managed to get taehyung on his bed without any more incidents. Jimin gently pulled the covers over him.

“ That's enough exercise to last me a month” Yoongi said as he stretched his arm.

Jimin laughed at the exaggerated look on Yoongi’s face. “ hyung you never exercise”

“ oh really? Then who went running with your ass last week?”

“ only because you lost a bet”

Yoongi smirked and moved closer to jimin who took a step back to avoid him. Yoongi moved again till he was right up in jimin's space. Jimin's breath hitched, he hated himself for being affected by yoongi so much.

Yoongi moved away from him and bent down to grab a pillow and put it in between taehyung's arms because the younger guy couldn't sleep well without holding onto something. Jungkook or Jimin were usually his personal pillows but not tonight.

Jimin was frozen in place, he felt a bit embarrassed because of his reaction. Yoongi chuckled when he saw the flushed face of Jimin before he grabbed his hand pulling him downstairs where seokjin, Hoseok and Jungkook were busy looking at the things the eldest had bought.

They had earlier come to the conclusion that nara was just a few months old, so they had to be careful with everything, while hoseok was holding nara, Jungkook had tried to do some research on his phone and he was beyond exhausted with everything he had read.

Hoseok and Seokjin were puzzling over the formula, looking at its instructions at the back of the can when they got down there and Jungkook was sterilizing the bottles gingerly. Nara was in her little basket, surprisingly quiet.

Jimin walked over to her and cooed before wrinkling his nose “ uh guys, we need to change her first”

“ this is awkward, she is a girl” yoongi said as he came to stand next to jimin.

“ don't make this weird hyung” jimin swatted at him and yoongi chuckled trying to avoid them.

“ you are right, she is an angel, a stinking one but an angel” yoongi said and jimin swatted at him again.

Jungkook came and pushed yoongi aside and the older boy squawks at the disrespect.

“ yah kookie” he called out.
