(y/n)= your name

You had just walked out of you and your boyfriend's house, tears brimming at your eyes.

"(y/n)! Let me explain, please.."
Zach, your boyfriend, or now you considered him as your ex, said slightly out of breath at the door, only wearing a pair of pajama pants.

"No.. I'm done with you. Im coming to get my things in the morning."
You said in a quieter tone, a tear quickly falling down your cheek as you stared at him with not so much envy in your eyes, but more like dissapointment, like as you thought... He was better than that.

You turned away from him, walking down the sidewalk on that cloudy and dull Thursday night. The weather already made you feel like shit, and you didn't need what happened back there to happen at all. You recapped the event in you mind, as you kept walking down that dismal road, despite it being quite cheerful in anyone else's eyes. Kids playing together on the lawn of one of their houses, laughing as they ran around.

You remembered clearly what happened, for the most part. You opened the door like usual, since you've been there so many times there wasn't a need to knock anymore. You had walked past his living room, turned to the left, and went down the hallway to his bedroom, which his door was on the right of.
You had knocked on the door twice before opening it, assuming that he would be sat at his computer desk playing Fortnite. You didn't really like it that much yourself, but you put up with it for him.
But no.
You opened the door to find a girl straddling him, she wasn't wearing anything except a pair of panties, her chest exposed to him.

"Zach.." You trailed off, completely taken aback by the situation infront of you.

"Oh.. Oh my god. (y/n), please." Zach said as he turned to you, pushing the girl off of him to run towards you.

There was the deepest pit of something in your stomach. You weren't sure of what it was... Regret? Anger? Disappointment? Dissatisfaction? Depression?
Maybe a mix of all.

The last part went by as a blur. You were just so shaken up by what he had done to you. He was one of the craziest boyfriends you had so far. He would bring you to different extravagant places, such as going to the museum and looking at the dinosaur fossils, or going mini-golfing. A cute thing he used to do when he still loved you,was during the beginning of your guys' relationship, he would bring you a flower from his grandmother's garden usually every two weeks.

You guess you should've saw it coming. The less frequent 'good morning' texts, the way he'd say 'I love you' with less meaning... It was painful.

After you had snapped out of you thoughts and found yourself near one of your favourite coffeeshops, you found a payphone and dialled up your friend, wiping off the tears from your warm face, and leaning on a lamp post as you waited.

"Hello?" Your friend Bailey answered with a moreover cheerful tune to her voice.

You sniffled slightly before answering with your shaky voice;
"H-hey there! It's (y-y/n). Do you m-mind meeting me at the c-coffeeshop we usually go to? I-it's kinda i-important.."
You trailed off, staring down at your hand which was shivering from a mix of your anxiety, and the autumn wind.

"(Y/n).. Are you okay? I'll leave right now."
Her tone switched to a more concerned one, as you heard her shuffling around, probably putting her coat on and such.

"I'll just talk t-to you when you g-get here. O-okay?"
You stuttered, sighing and rubbing your temples.

"Alright then. I'll be there soon. Talk to you in like, two minutes."
She said before she hung up.

You guessed she'd be there not long after she called, since she a) didn't live too far from the coffeeshop, and b) had a car she could drive.

You hoped she'd be there soon...
