soulbears: dark dreams

chapter 1

Abby was off to school  on a monday morning it was only her first day of the 4th grade she began to feel a little nervous "now don't worry sweet heart you'll  be fine " Abby's mother said as she patted her back she than handed abby a small bag with her lunch in it abby took the bag than began to walk to the school bus she sat down in one of the seats  "remember what your mom said" abby thought to herself  still a bit nervous to start her first day

They than arrived at school abby got off the buss and looked in amazement at the big building in front of her   "so much bigger than my old school" she said to herself  she walked through the door into the  cafeteria the first person she saw was her best friend jone it looked like she was saving a seat for her so abby walked up next to her "hey bff"  abby said in an excited voice  "i was waiting for you to get here abby what took so long ?"   Abby smiled  "i was kinda nervous about coming" she replied "but I'm not anymore" she added  abby sat down by jone and started to eat her breakfast  
Soon it was time for class abby and jone had the same teacher so they walked toguether  "so...abby do you have a boyfriend yet ?"  Abby's eyes got really big  " ewe gross no way" she replied so loudly most the whole hall could hear jone stopped at a class room door  "here we are" she said to abby the sing above the door read mrs. Kate  they walked in and sat down 

A few hours later...

It was finally time to go home "well that wasn't bad at all" abby said to herself  all the students formed a line to go out to the busses abby arrived home a few minuets after that  she walked through the door of her house  "hi sweetheart" her mother said softly "i have you something" she than handed abby a large purple teddy bear  "oh my god i love him" abby said in excitement  "ill call you teddy" she said to the bear she than took teddy to her bedroom   before you know it abby and the bear became best friends  

Later that night "mommy" abby called "can i sleep by you ?" She asked abby had always been afraid of the dark "no honey your to big the sleep by me" her mother explained "but i might have a bad dream again and i want you to be there when i wake up" abby said trying not to cry "but honey" mother replied "you have teddy now" abby slowly began to smile "yea" she said "your right" abby went back to her room
The next day....
Mother gave abby a kiss on the cheek handed her a bag of  lunch and sent her off to school  but this time the buss wasn't there yet so abby waited and waited   she than saw a baby kitten standing across the road   abby smiled it looked as if it wasn't weaned yet she got up and began to walk over and pick it up  but than  a car came speeding down the road  everything went black

"Wake up"  a strange voice said "wake up abby" abby opened her eyes only to see darkness all around her she looked over to see wo the voice wad she couldn't believe her eyes there standing right beside her was teddy 
"Oh my got y...you can talk?"  She asked  " yes i can" teddy replied  "abby you are dreaming right now we have to compete a quest if you want to wake up i cant remember what it was tho look all i know is there are nightmares lurking around" teddy explained  just than something came up behind abby it looked like a really big teddy bear only it had bloody holed where its eyes should be abby turned around she nearly passed out again than teddy pulled out a sawed off shotgun from the bag  on hid back "im sorry but thid child is taken" he said he pulled the trigger blowing the bloody bears head open more and more blood began to for a puddle under the bears headless body  abby was horrified at what she just saw "it wanted to hurt you little one but i wont let that happen"  teddy explained  "what was that thing?" Abby asked  "that was a soul bear" teddy replied "lets find our way out of the darkness there are more of them here"  abby took Teddy's hand
