Taehyung has been staring at the cieling for what felt like forever now.

He's come to terms that Jungkook is a real ghost, like, a spirit ghost, someone who died ghost, they are deceased gho-

"H-hyung?"

Taehyung's head whipped in the direction the voice came from and saw Jungkook standing there.

"Are y-you okay? You've been s-staring at the cieling for twenty m-minutes now..." Said the now fidgeting boy.

"What age did you die at?" Taehyung blurted out before realising what he said.

"W-wait! You don't need to answer if you don't want to..." His voice got smaller the longer he talked.

"No! Its okay" The boy retaliated.

"Uh...I died when I was 19"

Taehyung knew the boy looked young but Jesus Christ.

"N-nineteen?" He managed to stutter out.

What went on when he was nineteen?

"Y-yeah..."

Jungkook looked lost.

Taehyung shook his head and slowly got up, making his way towards the shower.

Once he got out and put his clothes on, he walked to the bus stop, Jungkook in tow.

The sun covered him in a blanket of warmth and Taehyung felt a little calmer than usual.

A beat of silence settled before Taehyung broke it.

"I- do you- a-are you comfortable talking about it..?"

Jungkook didn't respond for a while and Taehyung started to worry he offended him but when he looked back to check.

Jungkook was gone.

---

Taehyung couldn't focus, his lips dry and bruised from chewing on them.

Ever since this morning, he hasn't seen Jungkook, Taehyung wondered if he was gone for good.

"Shit..."

His head touched the table as the lecture progressed.

He shouldn't have said anything, Taehyung definitely deserved to be late for class.

His hand was playing with his earing before he knew it and he noticed his leg bouncing underneath the table.

A pair of eyes bore into the back of his head and he quickly stopped his actions, resorting to biting his lips.

He billowed out a sigh when attempting to focus on the lecture once again.

---

When Taehyung got the idea that maybe- maybe Jungkook only stayed in his home, he was beyond excited for college to end.

Seeming as it was his only hope to see Jungkook again and apologize, it made sense to be excited or nervous.

His keys jingled as he fidgeted to open the door, he managed to do it and rushed in.

"J-jungkook?"

He hesitantly called out, scanning the small living room.

There was still no sight of the boy and Taehyung deflated.

"I-im sorry..." He mumbled to no one in particular, maybe he could hear him?

Taehyung scoffed at the thought.

He guessed Jungkook really was gone for good.

"I'm so- stupid of course he was gonna be offended- wha-what was I even thinking? Who would even say that?!"

Taehyung pulled at his hair in frustration, he didnt feel like working on his assignment, he just wanted to sleep.

And that's what he did, he slept until 1:46 next afternoon.
