One. Two. Three. Five. Ten...
How many houses has it taken from? I doubt it even knows. You can't blame him. Once you keep doing something so much you forget how many times you do it. Unfortunately, for it this will be its most memorable.
On a warm summer's night, a shadowy figure climbs through a window in a house. Nothing special about it. Just an ordinary house with an unwanted visitor. The figure wanders for a while until he finds a room. There, it finds a watch and three twenty-dollar bills. This should satisfy its greed but it doesn't. It wants more. It looks around.
Nothing.
It wanders more and checks every crack it's hand can fit through.
Nothing.
It finds more rooms and thoroughly checks them.
Still nothing.
It is angry. It is about to go back the way it came until it finally finds something.
A staircase.
It smiles. It smiles with so much evil radiating from its teeth that it would make a baby look like a demon. The creature creeps up the stairs making not one sound. It looks around with a sharp glare that could cut steel and moves for the room to his left. The door creeks open and the devil slips in. There is a desk, a closet, and a bed. The monster can se a hump under the sheets. It sneaks next to the bed to see what the hump is. Its a person, no, a child. It sleeps peacefully while hell invades. The titan stares at the child and then leaves her but not before taking a few coins and a five-dollar bill.
The hellion decides to check one last room before exiting. It looks straight forward at a door and grins. It opens the door to a desk, a closet, and two firearms. One is a gold and silver revolver and the other is a red and black revolver. Both are the same size and body with an unusually long barrel. It stares at them and searches the desk to find only paper and pencils. The demon frowns and leaves the room.
On the other side are two bodies shaking and pointing weapons at the intruder. They walk over to him but as soon as they jolt toward him, the beast paints the floor red and leaves.
