16: honeymoon pt.4 [his story]

AUTHOR'S POV

"Wait for me hyung!" The younger Jungkook shouts from a far as he tries to catch up his older.

"Hurry up slow poke, the ice cream truck might leave any soon!" His brother, Junghyun, replies and continues on running across the street.

The little Jungkook stops to rest for a while before sprinting his short legs again trying to cross the walk sign. He tries catching up the walk sign but before he could reach his hyung, he suddenly trips himself and falls on his face.

"Owie..." Jungkook cried. Junghyun heard jungkook cried from a far and decicded to check up on his little but to his horror he suddenly shouted

"Jungkook! Be careful!" Junghyun tried running to his little brother but since he's taller than Jungkook he ran faster which makes him unable to reach Jungkook at a short time. Hearing this, Jungkook looked up and everything just happened in a flash.

Screeeeech-

Junghyun halt his actions and just stared at his little brother that was ran over.

"JUNGKOOK!"

---a few days later-

Junghyun sits alone far from his parents and fidgets his fingers guilty. He breaths out harshly while hot tears continue to pour nonstoppingly.

"Stupid Junghyun. Jungkook you better wake up" Junghyun speaks harshly to himself but then he soften "or else hyung might have to kill myself cause hyunh can't live without you..."

Junghyun sighs again as he drops his head. Even though they have been waiting for Jungkook to wake up for the past 4 days now, Junghyun still believes that his baby brother will make it. But if he didn't, he might have to either live with his guilt or kill himself.

"Ma'am you should leave now your visiting hours are up." The nurse tries to speak as respectful as possible despite inside of her mind she has been cussing the elder for giving the nurse a hard time ever since their son has been hospitalized.

"Okay..." Mrs Jeon replys taking the young lady by surprise. Mr Jeon lifts his wife by her shoulder.

"Let's go Junghyun." Said Mr Jeon.

"I'm staying." Junghyun said quietly.

Mr Jeon just sighs as he escort his wife out but everybody in the room halt when they hear a particular noise.

Beep.....beep....beep...beep..beep.beep.beep.beep-

Junghyun snaps his head up ever so quickly and look at the machine with his tiny puffy eyes and trust me, he widen it with all his might already. Both Mr and Mrs Jeon widen their eyes as the nurse did the same.

The nurse rush to the patient bed as she knows what was about to happen.

"Doctor, doctor the patient is awake!" She ended the call shortly before dragging the 15 year old boy along with his parents and push them outside. "For emergency purposes we need you to stay out. Please remain calm and wait until the doctor is finish." The nurse rambles out too quickly. She was more panicking than the family since it's her first week of working as a nurse. She couldn't even think and just slams the door right in front of the old couple.

The couple just look at each other dumb foundingly. Then the doctor rush-practically ran- towards the couple direction. Mrs Jeon who give hime a look where she says "my son's life is in your hands doc". He smiles knowingly since he recieves that kind of look a few hundred times before rushing in the room along with some of his crew mates.
