Recognition

With a five hour plane journey ahead of them, the 'family' of five made themselves comfortable and relaxed. Being used to travelling, the girls and Josh had already pre-booked their meals before they got on the flight. When the meal came, it wasn't anything special but they made the most of what they had. Whilst tucking in, one of the flight attendants was rather precarious of the gang. As she was walking past, she stopped and said "Excuse me, I don't mean to be rude, but did you girls appear on the reality show 'Dance Moms'?"

"Yes, a long while back now." Brooke replied. "How did you come across it?" she questioned further.

"Well you see, my daughter, Amy, who is now 13 was a huge fan of the show. She used to make me and my husband watch it every Tuesday. She even made us buy posters, signed items and a ticket for a meet and great. When it came to an end, she was ever so devastated!" the flight attendant said to the girls.

"We're glad to know that she enjoyed the show. Would you like us to write a note to her?" asked Maddie

"I'm sure she'd love that."

"Here guys, I have an old ALDC jumper in my hand luggage to keep me warm if I got cold." exclaimed Paige, "We can use that if you want!" as she rushed out of her seat and reached for her bag in the cabinets above. The flight attendant reached into her pocket and pulled out a pen for the girls to use. The hoodie was being passed around, the girls writing little notes to Amy and signing them. Chloe was also asking if she wanted a picture of her with them, 'I'm sure Josh wouldn't mind' she thought. "That would be great." the attendant said. The girls poked him on the back as he had fallen asleep and asked him to take a picture. He lazily agreed and took a snap. "I better be getting these plates cleared away otherwise I'll get told off by the captain. Thank you for the hoodie and for the picture. It's been really nice to meat you all." She wandered off down the isle collecting empty plates and dishes as she went.

"Wow! I can't believe that people are still recognising us after the show has finished." Paige said excitedly to Chloe.

"Me too. I like being famous. It's so cool." she replied.

As the hours passed, the plane was reaching ever nearer to California. When it started to descend, the girls got excited, laughing and joking about all the good times they'd had here, Especially filming Brooke's music video 6 years ago. From above their chairs the Captain announced "We're now deciding into Los Angeles International airport. The temperature is 24 degrees Celsius. I hope you have a safe and happy time in California."
