"your majesty we have finally identified the poison that was in the wounds it turns out that the poison that was use is a moon-water flower" the doctor said.

"what no it cant be that's poisonous to mer-people the only cure is the blood of your mate and as far as I know she has not found hers" I told the doctor.

"uh dad actually melody has found her mate but" liam told me. 

"but what young man" said my wife as she came out from melody's hospital room.

"her mate rejected her" liam said.

"do you know who he is liam" I said.

"yes dad his name is Aidan Anderson soon-to-be-alpha of blue star pack" liam had said.

"your majesty melody wont have long left with how fast the poison is spreading I would estimate less than a week I'm sorry I will leave you to talk" the doctor said 

"FIND HIM NOW HE CAN SAVE HER HURRY SHE DOESNT HAVE LONG GO NOW" I yelled.

"my poor baby girl we cant lose her we just cant" my wife cried in to my shoulder.

"shh love everything going to be ok shh" I whispered to my wife as we waited for liam to get back with melody's mate.

AT THE BLUE STAR PACK HOUSE

"liam how is melody" asked his mate. 

"its not good the doctor said that she might not last the week because of the poison is spreading to fast" liam said.

"what is the poison is there a cure please tell me there is a cure I will do anything please she is my mate" I told him.

"There is a cure that's why I rushed her she need the blood of her mate your blood Aidan"he told me.

"then lets go" I said.

" wait hears the thing is with mermaids its different than werewolves where you have to bite mermaids don't they have to drink the blood of their mates for them to be fully mated" liam told me.

"so if she drinks my blood she will be healed and my mate" I said 

"yes but you would have to drink hers as well to be fully mated" liam said.

"ok lets do it I cant lose her" I said.
