Chase and Chances

PROLOGUE

      Come to think of it.. He is my childhood buddy.. He fulfills every dream that i got for myself that I thought was imposible, but then, he made it all come true. He even told me once, "I will do things that will make you happy." Things that a boyfriend would do.

But then.. The truth??

I can never get a chance on him.. Cause he likes someone else.

And no matter how hard i Chase just to have him.. I can never have him.

     So let me tell you our story. -----

I met him when I was two, on his third birthday party in his place. My parents said, I was hiding myself when he approached me and said "hi baby" (and he still calls me that!!) he got sad when I did not even take a glance on him. And then that day, I fell asleep and they asked them if they could lay me down in his room. That day, he slept beside me and without knowing it.. He hugged me until I woke up.

And that is when we started treating each other as siblings. Since he is an only child and I am an eldest daughter. I have a younger brother that is 5 years younger than me, he is Tyler Noah.

So going back to my best budd. He is Aric. He is as naughty as his name (and also as handsome as it is). We were playmates. But not until i turned 7 because we came apart when my brother Noah was born.

Then after 4 years.. We meet again..

And at that time..

We didn't know each other anymore.

     There is something in my memory that bothers me. I was a blurry vision of a girl named Lory. I didn't really know her but I think, she's someone special. Because if not.. Why is my memory bothering me anyway?

And then in high school, I met a girl.. And it was weird because it felt like, I found someone who will complete me.

She seemed familiar but at first, I didn't mind. We shared the same passion together, until she became my passion.

Until I realize why she seemed familiar.. And that is when I started chasing her.

Hoping that I could get the chance in making it all up to her.. For the past years that we came apart.

She even told me once, "I am the happiest whenever you're around" probably a feeling that a girlfriend would feel.

I hope.. She recognizes me.
