I love you, scaredy cat (Peter Parker X Brianna)

"Hey, May!" I greeted as I walked in the front door of the apartment my boyfriend Peter lives in with his Aunt May.

"Oh! Brianna, hi!" She pulled me into a hug, "Peter told me he'd invited someone over but I was expecting Ned 'cause he's been going on about his 'Lego Death Star' for weeks now" May laughed as she pulled back and shouldered her handbag.

"I hope it's not a problem that I'm here?" I asked her, she shook her head, "Not at all."

"I'm out all night, meeting up with some old friends, so have fun. There's money on the counter for takeout, and you know my number, keep in touch!" May told Peter and I sternly as the former stepped out of his bedroom.

"Okay, we'll text you before we head to sleep to check in" I smiled at her, she nodded happily at my answer before picking up her overnight bag. "See you both tomorrow!" We hugged her twice each before she finally left, one last wave before the door closed behind her.

I turned back around to face Peter, he was stood at the kitchen counter and stuffing a handful of popcorn into his mouth. He caught my stare and shrugged almost sheepishly as he shovelled another handful of popcorn into his mouth.

I shook my head, walking over to the couch and dropped my backpack onto the floor before dropping myself onto the comfy cushions. "So what do you want to do this weekend?" I asked him as he came to sit on the couch beside me, I laid my head in his lap as I looked up at him.

"Well I had one idea in my head," Peter mumbled, I felt my heart rate pick up slightly at his words, my mind racing through the possibilities of what we could do with an entire apartment to ourselves.

"I thought we could binge watch American Horror Story?" My hopes dropped, as did my heart rate. "I still haven't finished season one and I promised you that I'd watch them all."

I smiled at his thoughtfulness, feeling his hand playing in my hair while the other reached to twine his fingers in with my own. "That would be great, Peter" I assured him, my free hand coming up to cup his cheek, he smiled down at me as he leaned into my palm.

*three hours later*

Episode five of the first season had just started playing on the TV when I glanced over at Peter to see he was holding a blanket up to his nose. I giggled as I picked up the remote and pressed pause so I could talk to him. "Are you alright?" I asked as I turned my body to fully face him.

He glanced over at me from behind the blanket and nodded quickly, "I'm fine, Bri" he whispered, I almost missed it for the blanket still in front of his mouth."I'm not sure I believe you," I said, a smile playing at the corners of my mouth as I continued to watch him.

"Come on, I'll make us some hot chocolate and then we can cuddle up while we carry on watching this" I stood up, Peter almost jumped up to follow me. He wrapped his arms securely around my waist as we walked into the kitchen.

I set a pan of milk to boil on the cooker before turning in Peter's arms to rest my head on his shoulder and wrap my own arms around him. "I love you" I mumbled into his chest. "I love you too" Peter said before he squeezed me gently and kissed my forehead. I turned back around to pour out the milk into two mugs and added chocolate powder before handing a mug over to Peter.

We headed back to the couch where Pete sat down first and I situated myself beside him, nuzzling myself comfortably into his side as his arm came around me to keep me there. I pressed play, feeling his heartbeat pick up slightly, "I love you, scaredy-cat" I giggled.

"I'm Spider-Man. I don't get scared." he stated before jumping slightly at something on the screen. I opted to say nothing, instead kissing his cheek before watching the screen with him. My scaredy-cat.
