"Hey Bre. Thanks for coming." Kyrie said enveloping her in a hug that was quite different from the rest.

"Oh no problem, boss. Thanks for inviting me. Glad you decided to have a little fun for your birthday."

"Woman, you don't have to call me boss." He said playing hitting her arm. "Thank you for the basket, Bre. You were the only person who gave me anything." He laughed.

"Well, that's a shame, Kyrie. You deserve better than that." She said peering into the pool as her last sentence purposely faded out but Kyrie still heard her.

"I've got some of that cheesecake in the house that you like. Want some?"

"Oh you remember?! And of course I do." Kyrie knew Breanna enjoyed dessert. He was just happy to think of something to drag her out of everyone's sight and get some alone time with her. He didn't know if it was the few beers he had or if he really wanted to tell her how he felt. He grabbed the box of cheesecake out of the fridge and placed it on the counter for Breanna. As many times as she had been over to his house, she felt comfortable enough to help herself in the kitchen.

"Dang, Kyrie. Did you freeze the cheesecake?" Breanna said struggling to get the knife all the way through.

"No, you weakling. You gotta put some more muscle into it." Kyrie said jumping up from sitting at the island and standing very closely behind her, trapping her between him and the counter, while placing his hand over hers to guide her cutting.

"Uh, Kyrie..." Breanna slowly uttered his name out of his mouth realizing how close they were right now.

Kyrie fell silent as and that caused Breanna to turn around to face him. No words were exchanged between them. Kyrie moved his face closer to Breanna as their lips slowly connected. After a few seconds of that electrifying kiss, neither of them wanted to stop, but Kyrie was interrupted by his own thoughts. I just kissed my own employee, Kyrie thought ashamed of himself. Breanna began to pace around in circles, while holding her chest. He couldn't really read her emotions and that freaked him out.

"Bre. Listen, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to come at you like that."

"No. Trust me, it's alright. I, um. I uhh."

"Bruh!! Kyrie, you gotta come out here, Draymond is getting a little too drunk and messing your yard up." Marcus Smart interrupted them. "Oh my bad, looks like I'm interrupting."

"It's okay, Kyrie. Go on, it's your birthday." She said smiling.

"Okay, I'll be right back." He said not taking his eyes off of her. He left and went outside and Breanna took a moment to really catch her breath.  She decided to head home and text Kyrie later that she left. There was so much commotion happening by his pool that no one noticed she snuck out. Once she arrived home, she sent him a text.

"Sorry I left without saying goodbye. I needed to get home."

"It's all good. I wasn't sure if it was because of me. You alright?"

"Yes sir, I am :)" she replied. About an hour went by before he replied. Now it was quickly approaching 11:00pm. Her phone buzzed again with a notification.

"You still up?" Kyrie ask.

"Yep"

"You mind if I stop by. Just wanna talk."

"No problem, you're always welcomed."

"OMW"

Bre became nervous as hell. Looking at herself in the mirror and fixing her hair before she heard an alert coming from the security camera at her apartment door. She looked at the screen and saw it was the man of the hour.
