The car stopped as it arrived at the mansion. The car door swung open not to long after, "We've been waiting for you, Mistress." I stepped out of the black SUV and was standing in front of the mansion." I walked up to the door being followed by the servants carrying my luggage. The door swung open and I walked right in being greeted by more of the servants.
"Welcome back Misstress, may I take your belongings into your room?"
I gave them a small nod as they started the task.
"Where is my Uncle? He usually is the first to greet me."
"The Master is dealing with an important meeting at this very moment. Would you like to join him?"
"Yes, please show where he is."
The maid bowed before walking through the hallways and I followed suit. We walked through the sliding glass door which led to the back near the garden. I looked at the flowers that were growing as I walked past. 'The flowers should be blooming soon at this rate.' I looked up to see the white Gazebo ahead of me.
"Uncle Noah!" I yelled out as I arrived at the stairs of the Gazebo.
My Uncle stood up from his seat with a wide smile as his arms opened up to give me a warm embrace.
"Ah, my beautiful niece! You have come to visit your old Uncle after all this time huh?" He chuckled as we embraced.
"I've only been in college for a few months and you called me just yesterday." I smiled as we pulled away and look to his company.
"It's good to see you again Alex. I hope you've brought good news to my Uncle Noah."
I sat down in the extra chair and my Uncle followed suit. A cup of tea was being poured for me as I looked over to Alex.
"Well I'm sorry but it's not the good news you are looking for." His voice took a serious tone which bought down the lightheartedness of the moment.
"You are dismissed." The maids were quick to leave the Gazebo, which left the three of us alone in complete privacy.
"There has been some talk about trying to overthrow your Uncle. I haven't gotten much information on how exactly they plan to do it but it's basically a threat that shouldn't be taken lightly, Sir."
"Well, they won't be able to get through with whatever they are trying to do. They won't be able to do much damage since they would need to harm me directly and be able to get to the documents."
Uncle drank his tea which meant 'This isn't worth getting worried over'.
"Well, what makes you think that Uncle?"
"Think about it for a moment. If we go down, there is no way this power will be able to obtain so quickly and it brings everyone down with us. So it would be damaging the entire economy we have built."
"Sir, They have been planning this for months and they won't take you as seriously since you aren't-"
"Watch it, Alex, you are walking on pretty thin ice right now."A shiver went down my spine as I heard Uncle's threating tone.
