CHAPTER 1: Secrets

EMILY'S POV

Hanna, Aria, Spencer, and I walked into school. Alison was coming back today, and we'd be right by her side. We all knew she was going to get weird looks as soon as she walked threw the school doors, but she had a brave face on. We all went up to Alison and wished her luck on her first day back.

As Hanna, Aria, and Spencer left, I stared into Alison's gorgeous ocean blue eyes and said, "I'll walk you to your first class, you have math first, right?" I was kind of nervous to talk to Ali, I was scared to admit it to her, let alone anyone, but I had a crush on her. I love everything about her. She's beyond gorgeous, I couldn't stop staring at her eyes. Her eyes. Her eyes were this ocean blue color, they're gorgeous. I kept staring into her eyes as she said, "Yeah, I have math first."

I walked Ali to Math class and then I went to English, which was my first class. I didn't pay any attention in English, I was texting Ali.

"Want to sleepover at my house tonight? My mom and dad aren't home, so we'll have the house to ourselves. -Em"

"Sounds great! See you tonight :-) -Ali"

Ali was going to spend the night at my house and it would be just us. I was so happy to be spending some time alone with the girl I love.

ALISON'S POV

It was time for lunch, I sat with Emily, Aria, Hanna, and Spencer, like usual. Emily stared at me all through lunch, it was kind of cute. I stared back at Emily, until Hanna said, "Hello! Earth to Emily! Emily! Emily! EMILY!" Emily stopped staring into my eyes and looked at Hanna, "Yeah?" asked Emily "Are you okay? Something is distracting you." said Hanna "Yeah I'm fine, just stressed about the Science test, I guess." said Emily quietly.

**AFTER SCHOOL**

I walked with Emily to her house. She said nothing until we got there. "Would you like anything to drink or eat, Ali?" she asked "No thanks... are you alright, Em? You've been acting weird ever since this morning." I said "Um..." She said "Em! You can tell me anything, you know that." I said worried "I know I can, but... I don't know I just... I'll tell you when I'm ready. Promise." She said quietly. I was worried about her, but she said she would tell me when she felt like it and I knew she would.

EMILY'S POV

I knew I had to confess my feelings for Ali sometime soon... maybe tonight? maybe tomorrow? I didn't know. We went upstairs, into my bedroom, and watched a movie. We watched 'Soul Surfer'. I didn't really watch it, though I was to busy staring at Ali. She looked at me, "What's wrong, Em?" she asked. I paused the movie. "I guess now is the time to tell you," I said turning toward her. "Ali, I-I have feelings for you." I said it. I couldn't believe I actually said it. I was so nervous to say it, but I kind of felt better. I started crying, Ali was wiping tears off of my cheeks with her thumbs. She looked at me and I at her. "Em... I-I don't know what to say." She said "I know, it's stupid. I'm sorry." I said "No, no. It's not stupid at all.... I have feelings for you, too." She said shyly. I couldn't believe she had feelings for me, too. I was crazy in love with her. I stared into her ocean blue eyes. I leaned in and kissed her. Her hands on my hips, our lips touching. It was perfect.
