Hey, it's been a long time since I worked on this story!  Anyhow, as you all can tell, the title has been changed from The Embryo Twin Sisters to Embryonis Gemini.  The change in title is supposed to mean big things (such as I just wanted a title that sounded better on the tongue), one of which being that I am finally getting back to my fanfics!  Yay!

As you can tell by my creepypasta fanfic Curse of the Mark, I have decided to take these stories a new way so that they fit into my main story.  I haven't updated the TLO books because I want to keep the current edits to myself for now.  As I haven't updated in ages, let's get on to the new prologue of Embryonis Gemini.  Enjoy! --Silent_woman1

The dripping of rain echoed on the pavement as a young person runs by. To an unassuming bypasser, this person would be described as masculine, wearing a black trenchcoat, and pale beyond belief. As if they would know the truth.

Flashy battles between despair and dreams broke through the air behind them, making them run faster. Shouts about the Embryo being thrown about as people scattered after a small egg-like thing. This only results in the run becoming a sprint.

Quickly, the person enters a broken down building and slams the door shut. A young girl a few feet away startles awake and looks at the person. "Ere? Is it the scientists again?" she asks, her voice trembling slightly. The young girl wore a white dress, stained slightly by blood and dirt, but she was still pale and unharmed.

"Yeah, Emryo. But they are on a goose chase at the moment. They won't find us, okay?" Ere responds, rushing over and throwing off the coat.

If people saw Ere as she was now, then they would know they had misjudged the person. She looked identical to Emryo, though her hair was short and eyes a glimmering brown. Her appearance, while lacking magic, showed a strength many no longer had.

The sisters embraced as soon as Ere got close enough to her sister. The planks below them creaked but held as they cuddled closer to each other. The humid air accumulated around them as Emryo whispered, "I wish it was warm in here."

All at once, the cool air heated up slightly, providing a warming effect to Ere, who had been a bit cold. The fireplace lit itself as the day faded to night, the thunder outside echoing. But Ere didn't react to the phenomenon.

She was too used to it.

Thought, she did pull away and give her sister a scowl. "What have we agreed in terms of your powers, Emryo?"

Emryo looked down, gripping her hands together. "Not to use them unless absolutely necessary. But, you were cold and I didn't want you to be cold and...and." Emryo continued to try and justify her reasoning as her sister sat across from her, rubbing her forehead. A strike of lightning interrupted Emryo, making her squeak loudly.

"Emryo, we can't be taking wishes if it will get us caught. Remember, this house hasn't been used in years. We need to lay low." Rather quickly, Ere put the first out, if only to protect them.

After putting out the fire, Ere grabbed the jacket and wrapped it around both of them. Emryo whispered an apology as she slowly drifted off in her sister's arms. Ere simply smiled and closed her own eyes, hoping they wouldn't wake in a new place again.

Sorry that this is so short, but I wanted to get this new storyline off to a good start.  I will update the first chapter soon.  Bye!
