"Ally GET UP!, youre going to be late for school." my mom yelled up the stairs.
i groaned and rolled over, reluctant to leave my warm and comfortable bed. " Im up", i mumbled in my raspy morning voice (which is not attractive). I rush to the bathroom when i see the time, school starts at 8:30 and its already 8:00!
10 minutes and a quick shower later, im dressed and in front of my full- length mirror trying to make my dull, blonde hair look presentable. I find myself very unattractice: im 5'2", i have freckles that line my face, im not super skinny, and as i said before i have long, dull blonde hair thats pin straight down my back.
i dont have many friends, except for my best friend Tina. she on the other hand is model material. with her long legs, perfectly manicured nails,and sleek brunnette hair she looks like she belongs on a runway.
were both 16 and we've known each other since we were born. Her mom and my mom have been best friends since they were in High School and we instantly became best friends as well.
'Ally, you have 10 minutes to get to school!" my mom yelled again, taking me out of my day dream.
smiling, i quickly ran down the stairs. While grabbing an apple to eat on my way to school, i gave my mom a hug. "bye mom!" i said as i went out the door, hearing a faint "byee sweety, have a good day on your first day of High School."
Even though i would be late for school i quickly got in my car and drove away confidently, knowing that i would have my best friend waiting for me once i got there to help me get through the day.
