It's already the second quarter and team Vorpal Swords just finished their time out. Since the second quarter started, the heat of the game increased. The first quarter started minutes ago but Jabberwock still hasn't been using their trump card, neither their full strength. To Hanamori, it seems that Nash is still hesitant to use Silver's full strength. But in fact, it's still too early, however her team's been gradually getting fatigued trying to stop Silver.
Murasakibara, being assigned to guard under the basket and prevent Silver from scoring is currently irritated.
"Man, this sucks. Why do I gotta work with him to win?" Murasasakibara whined as he works together with Kagami from stopping Silver's movements.
"Can you assholes not shut up!?" Kagami said annoyed for he's been the center of blames since he entered the game.
On the bench, Akashi and the others are hoping the double team would work like Hanamori said.
'Good, it seems like Atsu-chan's dealing with it.' Hanamori smiled but her eyes observes the three desperately battling each other. Eventually, her eyes narrowed her hands intertwined supporting her head. 'But it's not enough.'
Minutes ago......
"I agree with Kagetora-san's decision. It's best to consider double teaming Silver with Atsu-chan and Taiga-chan's power." Her eyes focused on the two persons mentioned. It's still visible that Murasakibara's totally against the idea, Hanamori just smiled it off. "But, don't be too confident. Silver's strength lies within his powerful core. Using his built to his advantage to block anyone and he may be big, but he's agile." Her eyes went worried as she faces everyone.
She needs to be honest this time for their team to win. What's she's about to say may sound aggravating, but she needs it to make the plan work. She pulled one heavy breath from her chest then she went serious. "I'm not going to say this to annoy you both, but... " She still hesitated with obvious distaste on her face. "But, if ever, just if ever. Ryo-chan, Daiki and Tetsuya, I need you to be very cautious and...assist." Right now, she can't help but feel uneasy from saying those. Without anything to say and being uncertain if the double team will work, Kagami and Murasakibara just fell silent.
Before the team can proceed to the court, Hanamori grabbed Kagami's arm with her head dragged down. Kagami felt her great dejection from saying those words. His hand fell on top of her head slightly pushing her head down gently.
"It's alright. I know you just want to be careful." He said making Hanamori raise her head, her eyes confused. She was expecting him to be annoyed at some point but no, he's not even the slightest annoyed. Slowly, Kagami's lips stretched into a wide grin. "Leave him to me."
"Nah, Mia-chin, I'll guard him." This time Murasakibara faced Hanamori his eyes fell on her soft orangey orbs.
'I shouldn't be the one being uplifted this moment.' She thought as her usual wide smile glossed over her lips. "I believe in you guys. I know you can do it!" She grinned widely, her eyes sparkled making the two teens feel encouraged. They nodded before going to the court.
Guarding Silver really is hard, his weight equals both of theirs. But, still they can keep him at bay as for the moment.
"You motha...!" Silver annoyingly said as he can't shake the two off him.
"Pass the rock, Silver! I'm open!" One of his teammates tried to assist him but being the over confident scum, he refused.
"Huh!? You think this pathetic attempt is enough to make me... Look for help!" He twisted his body breaking the double team.
