he steps into the cold freezing supermarket, it was 11 at night, and he wasn't about to have this bullshit again. jihoon was really tired and he couldn't proceed anything in his brain, and what more even by his physical capabilities. whenever he's tired, it's equivalent to being drunk... just a little extra grumpy to be dealt with. making his way to the aisle, the store has been newly reorganised. which means, he'll need to take a few times to memorise this place properly. which means, he maybe won't be able to make it out by the time the supermarket closes. which means, it would've been quicker if the store hasn't so-called rearrange for customers efficiency and comfort, plus, the new manager is an grumpy old librarian whom got a chance to even be in a store, a manager even which means he could've made a better choice by rejecting his roommates call for help to buy a carton of egg. which means, his roommate is such a pain in the ass. he groaned at his own self building thoughts that had been piling up nonstop. where are the hanging sign boards from the ceiling?! ughh is this the best they could do? have customers wander around like an idiot?! he thought to himself, grabbing tight on his pocket, getting more frustrated by seconds. aisle by aisle, all this bright lights, flashing promotion signs, all making his eyes a little bit difficult to find just an simple carton of eggs.
just then, he finally have found what he wanted. ahh, it was here all along, now just let me pay- a kids that's throwing tantrums midway, butt pushed jihoon and his head bumped into the side of the precious cartons of eggs, dramatically fallen to the ground, making unpleasant sounds, indicating, oh no no no shit shit shit fuck no i'm not-
he panicked, looking around if there's any witness or even cctvs that atleast caught a tiny bit of scene of what happened- none. none. and he clearly remembered now that there was some staffs walking around, eyeing customers just now. what should i do what should i dojust then, he looked at his right, well it was a trace of liquid leaking almost touching his shoes that made jihoon searched here the source came from. an exactly mirrored reflection, mirrored on this guy, he too, had big widened eyes, and a frozen statue,
"don't tell anyone!" both of them raised their hands as in gestures to stop each other, while simultaneously said the same thing.it was a solid three seconds of silence and a tad bit of fear, and the guy walked threateningly towards jihoon, he grabbed jihoon's wrist and suddenly dragging him, "wait what are you-"
"there's a staff behind you and if we walk quietly, they won't catch us-"
"hey stop there!"
"too bad, run."
jihoon seemed to catch up a little bit slow, but finally understands the whole situation, and finally running away with a stranger, his hold on jihoon's wrist hasn't separated yet, and jihoon is thankful for it because he would've been far behind this stranger. the exit was no where near, as they hid among the closed aisles, jihoon could only made eye contacts as he realised how good looking this guy is, they couldn't break eye contacts. "just follow me." he shushed jihoon and continued eyeing the direction they came from, "let's go let's go." they walked in a fast pace and didn't even dare to look back.
"hey its the both of you-" one of the security guards starts to realise, but this time both of them sprinted and blended in the crowd that was watching a live show, the man grabbed his hand again, as he made a mental note that jihoon's hand is really soft, but he continued running and making ways among the sea of crowds.
jihoon doesn't think that the stranger will find him attractive like how he did, but he's pretty sure that their heart is pumping at the same rate, real fast and violent because adrenaline is surely pumping furiously through their body.
the both of them meet the exit and successfully run away, nevertheless stopping at an alley before both panting and jihoon was already on his knees trying to catch breath as much as he could. he wasn't the gym guy but man this day wasn't expected by him at all, who would? unless you're a robber or something.the man started laughing, which caught by surprise, which made jihoon cracked a little smile but the dark alley wouldn't betray jihoon by showing it to the guy laughing. "that was so random! i never knew i would need to run from a terrible store."
"true, but why did you need to pull me away too?" jihoon asked, "well, for starters, you're really cute and i saw you a few times already, i guess we're both confused," jihoon blushed at that, again, the dark alley still wouldn't betray jihoon by revealing the rosy cheeks. "i mean, you do want to get nagged by that old lady?" the man shoots a curious face at him and jihoon shook his rapidly, "no no, ew, i wouldn't even sleep at night if that happens." he cringed at the thought of the old lady screaming at his face. the man continued laughing.soon, jihoon tugged at his shirt, and the man was of course puzzled, "what kiddo?" for some reason jihoon hated the nickname. "it's jihoon, and give me your number," he shoved his phone at his face, "woah woah no need to get violent, i said you're cute, so act like-"
"no no, i need your number, if the police found me, i'm for sure hell I'm dragging you with me." as jihoon shoots a wink and he was taken aback. he pushed the numbers and said, "well, you could contact me for other purpose than that." jihoon was too busy to make sure it was a real number and he reads the man's name "seungcheol. what other purpose?" "well, i wouldn't mind talking to cutie, ya know?" that caught jihoon off guard, blushing again. "we'll see." and seungcheol smirked at that.hit that star button in the face, like a BOSS, and i'll see you gay shippers IN THE NEXT BOOK!
