Gary pov
"He should be dead! Right?" I broke the silence.
"Ventrexians are war creatures gary, they can withstand six to eight months without food, water, or sleep. it was a cruel but needed tactic back in the dark ages." HUE spoke out.
No one moved, we couldent.
"I....I'm going to....We..We need..uhuhuhuhuh- I'm leaving!" Quinn rushed out in a hurry, i stared over at Avacato, he was holding little cato do tight I thought the boy might pop.
I decided it would be best to leave,
"HUE, i need you to record everything, got it?" I explained as the door closed behind me
"Yes, Gary."
Little cato pov
I felt dads grip on me, he hasent said a word, or moved.
"Dad, I-"
"How much do you remember of your mother?" He ask
A lump caught in my throat,
"Before everything." He added quickley.
I thought for a minute.
"Hm....I..I think it was the big birthday bash you guys threw for gramps," i thought back smiling back at the memory of my mother.
She was the most beutiful woman in the universe to me.
Long brown hair, orange fur, baby blue eyes.
Everyone on our planet would say I was my father with my mother's colors.
She was everything to me.
The farthest good thing I could remember of her was that party, I was almost two and she and dad threw a big party for my grandpa.
The whole tribe was there.
I danced with everyone, we swung, swam, and ate.
It was one of the best days of my life.
Until we got home and I was sunburned.
Mama and dad at fought jokingly throwing immature insults at each other over whos is fault it was.
I dident care though, I just giggled and leaned in go every kiss and hand that came over.
"It was awesome..."
He smiled down at me,
"She wanted everything for you, she wanted you safe happy and healthy."
He held me tighter.
"That's all I want to. You happy."
He said kissing my head.
