So who or what is the Whimsical Muse?
It is a book of random thoughts relating to the world of writing. There is no specific order to the chapters and their topics are not intended to be directed at any specific writer or group of writers' and are basically generalized.
I've been on Wattpad now for almost a year and I've enjoyed it very much! It is one of the three different sites where I post my work. We all have our own issues with some of the mechanics of using this particular platform to upload our work. I particularly enjoy being able to send private messages to other writers' as I have received a number of messages asking different questions about writing in general.
While my current published works are fan-fiction, I still spend a lot of time in researching things about it. There is also an enormous amount of time spent in researching historical time frames within the real world which I see as an equivalent setting so as to create the most realistic story possible. The same with writing in general, I do a lot of research into writing itself as well and read different articles written by published authors on a variety of topics because I also have original works that have not published.
As a retired individual who now has the time to actually devote to my first love which is writing, I am working toward becoming a published author. I enjoy helping people and I hope those who manage to stumble onto this book will find useful information and feel comfortable enough to openly ask questions. If not, please feel free to message me and I will do what I can to help you find the answers you seek.
At this point in time I cannot say how often I will update this book, however, I can say that it will not be abandoned.
Thanks for stopping by, feel free to comment!
