Sam's POV
I couldn't have imagined a more perfect night and I was lucky enough to spend it with a perfect guy.
Cameron drove me home and before I got out of the car he rushed over to open up the car door for me.
What a gentlemen.
He put his big hands on my waist and helped me out of the car. We slowly walked over to the door, not wanting to leave each other.
Cameron kissed me and then whispered "Goodnight beautiful."
I pulled away and smiled while resting my head on his chest. I opened up the door to go inside but before Cameron, my love, could walk away I grabbed his hand and whispered back, "Goodnight."
I kissed him softly and then he walked back to his car.
Cameron's POV
I didn't want to leave her. A girl as beautiful as her should never have to be alone.
Sam's POV
*two weeks later*
Cameron and I have been dating for two weeks. I've never been happier.
I got a call from Cameron earlier this morning he said to me, "I think it's about time I take you on a proper date."
Of course I agreed. He was planning on taking me to a nice restaurant.
It was 5:30pm and Cameron was picking me up at 6:30. I had an hour to get ready. I searched through my closet to find something pretty to wear when I found this dress. I don't remember getting it but it was stunning. It was a red high-low dress embedded with silver studs scattered around the dress.
Wow. I thought. That dress was so perfect for tonight. I slipped it on and it flattered all my curves and assetts. I curled my hair and braided my side bangs back. I put on minimal makeup because I know Cameron thinks I don't need makeup to be beautiful. He told me that I will always be beautiful in his eyes.
I got a text from Cameron.
Cameron: I'm outside baby. Come out whenever you're ready :) <3
I got on my sliver high heels to match the studs on my dress and then walked outside to the car.
This time it was different. It wasn't Cameron's car. I was a white Rolls Royce. Cameron stood right next to the car with a bouquet of red roses in his hands. My smile streteched out from ear to ear. I couldn't help but tear up a little bit knowing that Cameron did this all for me.
"I wanted to make tonight special for the most amazing girl in the world," Cameron assured me smiling.
He opened up the door for me and the driver took us to the restaurant.
We sat at a small table in the back. There was quiet classical music playing.
"You know you didn't have to do this all for me," I told him.
"Yeah I know I didn't have to, but I wanted to," Cameron smiled. I couldn't stop blushing.
We ate our dinner and then we sat at the table for a little while. Just starring into each others eyes. Observing each other.
"Sam?"
"Yeah?"
"I think you look absolutely stunning in that dress."
Aw!
I didn't say anything I just sat there happy as a girl could ever be. Happy to be sitting across the table from my one and only, my everything, my forever.
Cameron's POV
Wow. Just wow. I can't even put into words how much I love her. I'm crazy about her.
"I love you," I told her.
I looked into her eyes and I saw saddness flow through them like a river. I didn't understand.
"A-Are you s-s-serious?" Sam stuttered.
"I wouldn't joke around about something like this," I reassured.
"Listen, Sam, I know love seems scary sometimes but you can't live your life avoiding it completely."
Sam's POV
"I know..." I said as quietly as I could, feeling terrible.
"If you're scared of love you're scared of life because you can't live without love."
His words lingered in my mind. They spoke to me.
if you're scared of love you're scared of life because you can't live without love. I repeated inside my head. Things are finally starting to make sense.
