"This is insane Serena; this cannot go on forever... You have to focus on your life" Mrs. Grace yelled loudly to Serena.

It really upsets this fox-like fire-type Pokémon, Braixen... Whenever she remembers their Kalos journey back there. Her owner was full of life, power, aura, determined not to give up until to the end. But now she just seems like totally a different person.

Serena didn't even bother to reply for that statement. Quietly just nudging the food on the plate. Sometimes she even wonders where she has lost that aura. She just didn't want to know that. She was just, lost.

Mrs. Grace again said, "I know Serena, the disappearance of that boy Ash was a big hit for you. You really liked that boy. But that doesn't mean you have to give up everything for him."

"I just don't feel the desire anymore mom," Serena stated flatly.

"Then at least try," Mrs. Grace said. "I am your mom. It really upsets me watching you depressed all the time. I didn't interfere for a while cause I wanted to give you some time alone to overcome that blow. But now it seems like this depression is affecting you more,"

"Mrs. Grace is right. There is no reason for you to give up everything for Ash, Serena." Her one-time rival then turned friend Miette approached her this time.

Watching Serena quietly, Miette then said, "You know Serena. I also liked Ash. I knew I will never have a better chance with him as far as you are with him. But that didn't stop me from achieving my dream, becoming the best coordinator of Sinnoh."

"I know Ash was some kind of a mentor for you, your best motivator. If you can't give up Ash, still carrying his given handkerchief, why can't you make his memory your motivation?" Miette said bringing out a handkerchief.

Serena's facial expression changed immediately.

"Is that? Give me that!" She rushed to Miette immediately.

"I am sorry Serena. All I want to say, you really have the power to achieve your goal. I saw that in Kalos back there where you even defeated me in Masterclass. Why don't you give it another try for yourself?

Serena just sighed.

"But I am not done yet; after all, I have got to make my dreams come true."

"To become a Pokémon master ..."

"Of course. You really are an amazing person Ash."

Her fire-type Pokémon nudged her leg, while Serena was staring through the window.

"Is this what he would have wanted if he was here right now?"

Serena sighed out again. Maybe Miette is right. She should not give up like this. This is what he told her too.

"Don't give up until it's over"

Serena looked at Braixen, smiling after a long time.

"Braixen, would you like to travel with me in the Alola region, with Miette."

"Braixen, Braixen...!"

"Pikachu, you sure it's going to work?" Ash said hesitantly after wearing that thing on his face.

"Pikachu ... Pika, pika pi," His faithful electric yellow mouse replied in somewhat dangit tone.

"I know Pikachu; it's not fair at all. After a long time, I am going to face them and now I am taking a visor. I wonder how they will react when they come to know my true identity... Especially Serena," Ash sighed out feebly.

"Pika pi, Pikachu..."

"No buddy. It's best for everyone. The Team Skull must not know my true identity. No matter how much I miss them, I must go through the mission through visor... For the best of everyone."
