I woke up, due to Jesse's snoring. It was 12:30 in the morning, and I couldn't go to sleep. I walked upstairs to Mr. Townsend's room and asked him if I could go to sleep in his room. He tugged my arm, pulling me to his bed, and I hopped in bed. He wrapped his arms around me...and I started to close my eyes falling to sleep. Finally!
It's 6:00 and the alarm clock begins to buzz...very annoyingly loud! John, Mr. Townsend, slams on the alarm clock making it stop. He pulls me out of bed making me hit the floor, whining in a sleepy voice, "Get Uuuup." I wake up swinging and accidentally hitting John in the shin. He fell back onto the bed, and I jump up pushing myself off of the floor saying, "Aw, I'm really sorry."
He replied in a sickly voice, "It's fine, I'm fine." He pushed off of the bed, easing up on his bad leg, and hops downstairs to wake up Jesse.
"Jesse, wake your ass up. First day of school is calling your name." John tugs on Jesse's leg, but he kicks back shouting, "Shut up! You aren't my dad, or mom. They don't love me. Fore, they wouldn't've gave me away." Jesse starts to tear up. But, John prevents that by giving one of his warm, heart-felt hugs.
Jesse wipes his tears, complementing John, "You're like a father to me, John." They hugged again and got dressed for the first day of school.
I was already dressed, waiting on them downstairs. "Come on, lovebirds, I don't have all day!"
They came running downstairs, tripping over each step. I laugh hysterically, while they stare at me with a serious face. "Ok, let's go!"
Jesse and I raced to the car seeking the first seat. As usual, Jesse wins. He's like a bolt of lightning. He's always been on the track team. They say that him and I the fastest in the school, but i don't do track. Jesse, John, and I have a silent ride to the school.

Once we pull up, we find Austin Johns, my old foe, at Mr. Townsend's parking spot. Did he forget about our friendship over the summer? Is he going to pound me into the ground? I sink into the back of John's car, hoping that Austin already haven't seen me.
I turned blue, thinking about what Austin would do when I get out of the car. Jesse saw my expression and told me that I'll be ok. "I'll have you're back 24/7 this year, I promise."
I eased out of the car, and before I could think anything, Austin slapped me on my butt saying, "How was my favorite gay guys summer?" I responded with a smile and said, "It was ok, Jesse and I went to Daytona Beach the whole time. How about you, Mr. I'm-better-than-you?"
His smile turned into a straight face and told me that he'll tell me later on.
I wonder what went through his head.
