Nightmare roamed around the school tiredly, still being quite out of it. It was quite early.
Killer calmly approached the tall building, ready for the day.
Nightmare saw Killer and walked towards him and waved.
Killer saw Nightmare, and smiled, meeting the teacher half way. "Good morning Nightmare."
"Good morning Killer. Did you have a good sleep?" He asked with a small smile.
Killer nodded politely, smiling as he sat at a nearby bench, offering room for anyone else who chose to sit (nameingly Nightmare).
Nightmare sat next to Killer and decided to talk with him. "Did you have any trouble with the homework?" He asked.
"Nope. I can work with your material, pretty well." Killer stated, smiling whilst handing Nightmare his neat piece of paper.
Nightmare took it and looked impressed. He handed it back to killer. "Good job Killer!" He said.
"Thanks." Killer responded, blushing and hiding his face in his hoodie. "So, anything I should know 'bout class today?"
"Hmmm. All we are doing is just some assignment." He said, "but this should be fairly easy for you considering how good you did your homework." Nightmare said.
Killer smiled, nodding. He was glad for the freetime he'd probably get from after he finished the assignment.
Nightmare looked at the time. "I better get going!" He said, "I'll see you in class Killer. Bye!" He said and gave killer a quick hug and then took off.
Killer had jumped at the hug, as a warm feeling flooded his chest, still remaining even after Nightmare's departure to class. The feeling stayed with him the rest of the day. Finally, it was time for Nightmare's class.
Nightmare was in his seat grading some papers.
Killer walked over to his desk, looking down on it and sighing. Scribbled uneasily, were multiple hurtful messages from other students. 'Die. Dumbass dork. Whore. We don't want you here. Use those brains for once, get rid of yourself.'
Each one worse than the next. 'They're getting better with their insults...' Killer thought, tearing up. He growled, rubbing away his tears, and quietly got to work at cleaning up the mess.
Nightmare walked over to killer and gasped. "Killer are you ok!?" He asked as he helped Killer clean and wipe away any excess tears with his thumb.
Killer shrugged away the gesture, trying to hide his eyes. His emotions, or at least...the little bit left. "It's fine. Good on them I guess...they're getting better." Killer whispered, looking down.
Nightmare growled under his breath. He got up and looked around the classroom of kids. He bent down to killer. "Do you mind stepping outside for a bit Killer?" He asked in a calm tone but his eyes said otherwise. They were filled with rage.
Killer nodded blankly, grabbing up the soiled rags which help the muffled stains that hurt Killer so much. He ignored his pain inside however, and left, nodding to Nightmare.
The rest of the class waited, confused.
Nightmare waited until Killer left and looked back at the class with rage flaring in his eye lights. "Who did this?" He asked calmly, trying to keep his cool.
The class's eyes widened, as they all stayed silent.
Nightmare growled. "Tell me."
Multiple kids pointed to the row of kids on the back. The ones known for skipping homework, and selling weed behind the school.
