Summary: Peter goes on a field trip to the Avengers Tower where people get pushed and a big, green teddy bear comes to save the day.

Peter's POV

I was staring at the clock, impatiently waiting for the heavenly call that finally releases us from the clutches of learning. In other words, I can't wait for the bell to ring so that I can go home. A couple of seconds later, the bell finally rang and right as i was about to get up out of my seat...Mr Harrington yelled "Before you go, I have a surprise for you all. I got us all a trip to the Avengers Tower! Now remember! No slip, no trip. Grab a slip on your way out."

My eyes widened before I groaned. "What's the matter Parker? Scared that everyone is gonna find out how much of a liar you really are? Ha! I can't wait!" I groaned again before I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was Ned. "At least you finally get to prove him wrong." I gave him a nervous smile. 'That's what I'm afraid of.' I thought before grabbing a slip and running out the door and outside where Happy was waiting for me in his usual spot.

I got in and put my bag on the floor before silently looking out the window. "Hey." My head snapped up and my eyes widened before softening again once I realized that it was just Happy. "Are you okay?" He asked. You're not as talkative today." I looked at him. "yeah, I just have something on my mind. That's all." I said, giving a smile before turning back to the window.

The rest of the ride there was silent. When we got there I got out of the car and gave Happy a quick wave before walking into the building. I rushed through the lobby and into the private elevator. A few seconds later the doors opened and I stepped into the penthouse. I walked across the room and flopped on the couch, stuffing my head into the pillow and falling asleep.

One Week Later...

The day of the field trip came all too quickly. I walked into the classroom and was about to put the signed (Pepper signed it.) paper on Mr. Harrington's desk when I had a sudden thought. 'What if I didn't give him the slip? Then I wouldn't have go-' My thoughts were interrupted when Flash snatched my slip and handed it to Mr. Harrington; who had just come into the classroom.

Next thing I knew, I was standing in front of the Avengers Tower wishing that I could just fall down and die. We all walked into the lobby and an intern I recognized as Chamborlin walked up to us. He smiled at me and said "Hey Peter. I didn't know that you were working today." I could fell everyone's eyes on me as I reached up to scratch my neck sheepishly "Actually, I'm not...I'm not here for my internship. Um...I'm here on a...on a field trip."

A surprised expression crossed his face before it was quickly replaced with amusement. "Well, good luck with that." He said before walking away. I looked down at the floor, avoiding the eyes that I felt attempting to stare into my soul. But luckily Chamborlin came to the rescue. He handed out passes that said 'SECURITY PASS: LEVEL OMEGA RED' and it had a red stripe across the top. everyone was freaking out about them. (Especially Flash.)

When Chamborlin got to me he said "Hey, you have your pass with you right?" I nodded and pulled my pass out of my bag. Flash gaped at me. He then showed us over to a poster that had the security pass rankings. "There are three major levels. Omega, Beta, and Alpha. In those categories are sub-categories." He said before continuing.

"Omega Red, Omega Orange, and Omega Yellow, Red being the lowest and yellow being the highest; Beta Green, Beta Blue, and Beta Indigo, Green being the lowest and Indigo being the highest; finally Alpha Violet, Alpha Silver, Alpha Gold, Violet being the lowest and Gold being the highest. Visitors, delivery people, and janitors get Omega passes. Interns, scientists, and researchers get Beta passes. And security, government officials, the close friends and family of the Avengers as well as the Avengers themselves get Alpha passes." He finished.

He headed for the elevator and we followed behind, piling in until we were all present. Unfortunately, I was squished beside Flash. "How'd you do it?" I raised my eyebrow at him. "What?" He looked at me like I was stupid. "Get the intern to act like he knew him." I rolled my eyes. "Have you ever considered that maybe I might not be lying about the internship?"

He scoffed before pushing past me and out of the elevator door which had opened to reveal the presentation floor where they had displays of all the Avengers with old suits, prototypes, and other things. After we went through that we went to multiple low level labs and had lunch. Luckily, Flash didn't bother me at all. We were nearing the end of the tour. Chamborlin said that we were going to get to go special at the end.

He leads us up to a familiar looking hallway and went down the hall where there was a glass door and glass walls so we were able to see inside. When I looked inside and I knew my life was over. There, standing in the middle of the common room, were the Avengers. And I don't just mean some of them, I mean all of the them! They didn't seem to know that we were there until Chamborlin walked into the room with us in tow.

"Hello Midtown High. I hope you've enjoyed the tour. Well, we've all decided to let you see our common room, which is where we do hobbies and activities in our free time. Although I'm warning you now, don't touch anything! These are our personal items. But you are free to look around." He finished and immediately we spread out across the room awing (For no reason.) at Bruce's chess board and Clint's dart board.

Until..."Peter could come here for a second?" I grimaced as I slowly walked towards them. Steve put his hand on my shoulder. "I was thinking of making burgers for dinner. How about it?" He asked with a smirk on his face. I nodded before speeding away trying to avoid the eyes of my stunned classmates. I saw Tony glance at me smile. "Excuse us while we have a very important discussion." And they left the room.

Right after I heard the door close I felt my Spidey-sense tingling but I ignored it. Big mistake. I felt my body hit the floor with a loud thump. I looked up see Flash looming over me with hot, red fury shining brightly in his eyes. Everyone else backed away, most likely too scared to get involved. (Yes, even MJ. OOC right?

He was about to go for the punch when we heard the door open and a mug shatter. We all turned around to see Bruce standing in the doorway, teeth clenched and fists shaking . His face started to turn green. 'Oh no.' After a minute or two there stood the Hulk, in the flesh.

He ran towards Flash and picked him up, probably about to throw him but before he could I jumped in and yelled "Hey big guy?! Look! I'm fine! See?" He turned to me, dropped Flash, (Who ran away like a little sissy baby.) came towards me, and sat down. He looked at me and gestured for me to turn around. I did as he asked and he poked me, checking to see if it hurt anywhere. When he realized that I was fine, he picked me up and put me in his lap before hugging me.

"Peter-Spider okay." A small smile grew on my face and I hugged him back. "Yeah. Peter-Spider okay." He looked at me with a smile and said "Peter-Spider sing to Hulk?" I let out a chuckle. "Of course." And I started to softly sing 'Titanium' as we gently rocked with smiles on our faces and my class stared in amusement (MJ, Ned, and the Avengers.) and shock.
