Hello, Claire here! This is Sophie and I's first story together. I will be writing the odd numbered chapters, while she'll be doing the evens. I hope you enjoy!

Teddy's POV

Bzzzz. Bzzzz.

My phone vibrated in my hand. One text from Percy.

I'll be at ur house in 30 minutes. Just landed at the airport.

"Oh shit." I said out loud. Mid-flight, Percy texted me out of the blue that she was on a plane on her way over here. Big shocker. I started to frantically clean my small apartment, tripping over some things in the process.

Even though Percy is my best friend, I haven't seen her at all in three years. When we started high school, she really got into singing, and once her mother learned about Percy's desire to be famous, she took matters into her own hands. However, she didn't take the time to actually listen to Percy. She thought Percy wanted to be famous in any way, when all she wanted to be was a singer. She screwed it up to say the least. Percy's mom somehow booked her to be in a fashion show, a  gig at a bar, then three other fashion shows, and maybe an audition for a Pringle commercial. (Which she got). But the fashion shows kept coming and before she knew it, Percy was a full fledged model traveling 24/7 to different shows, photo shoots, and in the blink of an eye, Percy became exactly what she didn't want to be. Girly. Sophisticated. The opposite of the punk-rock chick with a laid back attitude. And that attitude only came out with me. I'm the only person she can be herself with.

I, on the other hand an doing everything she isn't doing. I'm seventeen years old, waiting for college to start in the fall where I will be studying art. I have a little job at Buttercups cupcakes right in the heart of Shreveport, Louisiana, the town where I grew up. I never thought myself as pretty, and my friend being a model didn't help, either. I have a small group of friends that I rarely see, due to me blogging about five homosexuals almost all day everyday.

I'd evern had my blog when I was still with my boyfriend, Jason. He was pretty much the only person I'd been with since middle school, and I really loved him. But he got this amazing scholarship to study in  Canada, he almost passed it up because of me. I promised him that no matter what we would always be together, but after he left we just kind of fell apart.

Even with everything that's happening, or not happening rather, I'm quite content with my life at the moment. I delve into my blog, and my artwork, and it gives me peace. I feel happy almost all of the time, no matter what I'm doing. But I find myself with an overwhelming feeling of longing.  Longing to do something. I would do that something, if I only knew what is was.

I had just about finished up my cleaning when Percy burst through the front door. She still had the key.

"TEDDY!!!" She shouted as she ran up to hug me. My real name is Claire, but when I was little, my sister would just call me Bear. At first she was the only one who would call me that, but when Percy heard she just took it to a whole new level. First it was Claire Bear, then Pooh Bear, then Yogi Bear, the Boog, and then Teddy. I guess it just stuck.

"You got so skinny!" She said lifting her sunglasses to the top of her head. She looked glamorous. She'd dyed her hair from it's pretty brown to a gorgeous blond like she always said she would, tight jeans, white shirt with a few accessories. She made casual look like it took an hour to put together. She looked like a model. But her face has an effortless beauty that I've always been jealous of.

"You kinda just told me that I was fat before, but I'll still take the compliment." I giggled. She smiled at me, then went over to the kitchen getting herself a rootbeer.
