"Two tickets to London, please." Percy said after we checked the flight times.
We had spent a week in Shreveport, just chilling, breaking the news to my parents, packing, etc.
And now here we are, buying our tickets lugging our ten billion suitcases behind us.
Percy's mom had been mad about us leaving, and so had her dad. But her mom, being awesome, let Percy go just to piss off her dad.
"How will you be traveling? First class or normal accommodations?" The lady behind the counter asked.
"First class, baby!" Percy said with a wide grin.
The lady handed us tickets, and I called dibs on the window seat. Percy was fine with that, since she doesn't like flying that much.
Most of our luggage was boarded onto the plane leaving us with a carry on bag each.
"Race ya." I winked at Percy running before she could process what I had said.
I ended up stopping halfway there to catch my breath.
"You're pathetic." Percy joked passing me by.
"Bah humbug." I mumbled taking my time to the security part of the airport. Percy had already put her jewelry and whatnot into a plastic box, and I did the same double checking if I forgot anything.
We made our way onto the plane after a while, and eventually to our seats.
"This is niiiiicee." I said sinking back into the comfy seat. "Why don't you like flying again?"
"It's the takeoff that bothers me. Otherwise, I'm fine."
"I can get used to this.." I grinned as a flight attendent handed us a drink and warm almonds.

Percy's POV
The plane ride was pretty chill, minus the take off and landing. I hatd the feeling of changing alttude rapidly.
As soon as we were in the airport I checked my phone and found a lot of messages. Mostly from 'friends' who I didn't bother to tell I was leaving, but a few I actually bothered to read which were from my dad.
Persephone, I think you know that I'm quite upset to hear of your recent plans to move to another country, another continent entirely.
I rolled my eyes. I think he knows I hate it when he calls me Persephone, and I hate the way he always talks to me so damn formally, like a I'm a business partner or something.
Despite your obvious rebellion, I've taken the liberty to arrange a driver for you. His name is Stanley and he's been insructed to make sure the both of you reach your destination safely.
I've also taken the liberty to pay 3 months of rent for a spacious flat in west London. If the location, size, or any anything else that doesn't fit your expectations, please feel free to let me know.
Even though I'm not pleased at all with your latest discisions, you're still my daughter and I love you. It gives me a slight comfort to know that you're being taken care of instead of having to fend for yourself in a new country.
I had stopped walking and Teddy was looking at me curiously.
"What is it?" she asked. I looked up at her a bit in shock.
"We need to find our driver," I told her.
