"I will protect you Hanabi with all my life. They might say that i'm weak, but when it comes to my family, I will protect as if my life depended on it. Understand?" Hinata asked as she had her hands gripping her younger sister's shoulders.

Her father had called to her attention that Hanabi was supposed to be the next heir of the clan when she was older, and that because Hinata wasn't strong enough she would be down ranked. In the end, when push comes to shove, Hinata would protect with all her might. It didn't matter to her who the clan leader was.

"I understand nii san! But what I don't understand is why Otosan doesn't see you as a strong ninja like I do." Hanabi, her younger sister whined. She looked down in disappointment.

"I'm sorry." She apologized.

"I don't know why you are. I think you are gonna be a great clan leader. I believe in you Hanabi." Hinata had reassured. She loved her sister, and some clan issues wouldn't separate them.

"Hanabi, I have a favor to ask." Hinata added.

"Yes?" Hanabi questioned.

"When you become clan leader, set them free." Hinata whispered. They were sitting on a ledge that looked out at the grounds were Hinata and Hanabi trained.

Not to far from them was Kou and the others. They were like caged birds, wanting to be set free. Those awful seals restricting them. Hinata hated it. When she was supposed to be the heir, her first change would to get rid of the seals and combine the main branch with the side branch. It didn't matter what kind of Hyuga you are, you were a Hyuga and didn't need a label or seal.

"I promise nii san." Hanabi stated. She loved her nii san and would respect her wishes.

But the future of the clan wouldn't be as important soon. Toneri was already deciding his plans, and Hanabi's eyes were needed.
