Clementine & AJ

The forest was peaceful, all you could hear were the animals and the galloping of the horses that Clementine and AJ were riding. AJ sighed heavily signaling that he was tired and wanted to stop.

"I know goofball, I just want to make sure we are far from the bandits, as much as possible." Aj looked sad but understood, at that moment his stomach growled. Clementine knew that they had not eaten since yesterday and didn't think that they could go on much longer without food. "Alright we'll stop but just for a little bit. It will give you time to rest and eat." Coming to a full stop she jumped off the all brown horse and helped AJ down. As she was tying the horse down, next to the stream to drink, she told AJ to stay with the horses.

"I'm going hunting for food, don't go off on your own it isn't safe." Clementine said as she grabbed her hunting bow. Clementine didn't go too far from the rest stop making sure she can still see AJ and insure his safety. Time passed, and she was able to capture four squirrels, and a rabbit, enough for two days or so. With the sunsetting she figured it was a good time to head back to AJ and the horses.

"AJ its getting dark we need to go already-." The crack of a branch breaking caused Clem to lose focus and turn towards the noise. Not far from AJ was one of the bandits that was chasing them. Without a second thought she tip toed her way to AJ and slowly reached over to cover his mouth to make sure he stayed quiet.

AJ freaked for a moment but relaxed to Clem's shushing, she pointed towards the bad man and immediately he understood. Clem slowly picked AJ up and as quietly as she could, walked backwards not taking her eyes off the man in front of her. She slowly adjusted her ward onto the horse and untied them. With her eyes still focused on the man she did not relies a branch under her, and with her weight on the branch she was too late to stop the crack of the branch that gave away her position.

"There! They are over here!" the low life yelled.

"AJ get out of here!" she slapped the rear of the horse and both the horses and Aj raced through the forest.

"Clem." AJ called, worried.
