Chapter 1
Kathy Pov's :
"Ugh... I'm just so fat!" I screamed to myself . I look back in the mirror and only to hate what I see.
My thigh were stuck together. I am just so big. I had curves but they were covered with fat.
I quickly just put a plain shirt and my jacket which hide my sides so I seemed . Then , I squeezed I'm my blue jeans. They were so tight and I felt like a fat cow trying to squeeze into a tiny space.
I started to walk down the stairs and was out of breath my the last step.
"Fatty Kathy" I heard my roommate say.
"Yes "I replied.
"Your going to be late if you don't hurt your fat ass up" she snapped.
I rolled my eyes and grabbed my books and head to my first class.
"Hey watch out you pig" I heard this girl say when accidentaly bumped into her trying to get to my seat.
"I-I'm sorry" I apologized and sped to my seat.
" Hello Class" Mrs. Winters said while entering the class.
" Your going to have to do a project with a partner for a couple of weeks." She announced and everyone started blurring out who they wanted their partner to be.
"Hush ..! Hush.! I'm going to pass around this bucket with numbers the 2 people have the same numbers are partners.
She made her way around the room and lastly it was my turn to pick and I had number 9.
" Okay, everyone hold your number up and find your partner" she said and everyone hands flew up.
I skimmed the room for my number.
No Way.! Jason Collins is my partner.
" Hey" I said walking up towards him.
" Number nine " he asked and I nodded.
"Yes I have nine" I reply.
"Okay let's sit over there" he said as he pointed to the seats close to the back. I nod and went to the seats.
"Okay so what do we have to do for this project?"he asked.
" It says on the information sheet that we write a play and act in out. " I reply to him.
He picked up the sheet and said " I don't know much about this but meet me after school in the parking lot."
I nodded my head and about 20 minutes of silence the bell rung.
The rest of the day was pretty was pretty good for me. I just worked and listened. I'm in the parking lot waiting for Jason.
" HEY!" I heard someone yell. I turn and see Jason.
"Hello" I said walking towards him.
"Okay , I'm glad you here. This is what I want to tell you. I can't be seen with a pig like you . " he spat whiling chuckling.
I didn't say anything. I already felt the tears forming but I was holding them back.
" So , your going to have to do the project by yourself " he said and then walked away.
( Side Note/ I don't so much of this unless I need to but now you will be introduced to Jason Collins.)
Jason Collins Pov:
(Phone Call)
Jason- Yeah I told her
April - Great! I want tell your secret about your dad.
Jason- okay well I got to go bye
April- bye
(End of call)
You probably think I'm the worst person for saying that but I'm not.
It's all for a good reason. I couldn't talk to her because of April. I don't know why April hates her but she does.
If I didn't do this April would have told people about my dad secret.
That would ruin his life and my families. I know I probably hurt Kathy. I just hope she knows she is beautiful.
