As Chanmi leaned back in her chair snacking on some caramel popcorn, she scrolled through her phone looking at new places to live for her and her best friend.

It wasn't looking good; they were running out of money to pay rent in their current place and they needed somewhere they could move in and have some support with rent and such. Chanmi tossed her phone onto the desk, tilting her head back and letting out a long sigh.

She positioned herself comfortably in her spinning chair. She pulled her chair to the desk and opened up a new tab on her computer. She searched for more places to live but still no luck. The places were either too expensive or didn't have space for both of them.

Just then, Chanmi came across two places next door to each other. The households consisted of four boys in one and four in the other. The description on the households had the same thing written; "Total of five in the house. Looking for one more person to join." Chanmi sat up abruptly in her chair. "Mikyung-ah!" she called out.

"Yeah? What's up?" Mikyung shouted up the stairs, stirring the pot of pasta that she was currently cooking slowly with her wooden spoon. She tasted the sauce and smiled at the sweet yet tangy flavour.

"What about this one! We'll be split but we're only next door to each other and the price is good. It's our best chance." Chanmi took a quick picture of the screen and ran to the kitchen as fast as she could. She almost fell as she got to the kitchen but she straightened her posture, laughing it off.

"Nice one clumsy." Mikyung laughed, turning the stove off before turning to look at the picture. "Four boys? I can barely cope living with you but four boys?" Mikyung tilted her head.

"I have been searching for hours. This is the first thing I've found that is.. good-able." Chanmi looked up at the taller girl.

"Good-able...." Mikyung stared at Chanmi for a while trying to process this new word. "Okay sweetie, it'll have to do."

Chanmi let out a sigh of relief. "I'll go email them so we can move in as soon as we can." she said, running back upstairs to email the host of the houses.

"Sounds like a plan." Mikyung nodded. "Wait. Chanmi come back! I need you to trial my sauce!" Mikyung shouted through the house over the music.

"One second! I'm excited!" Chanmi shouted down, getting to it. She quickly sent an email to both of the hosts of both places asking to take the two empty slots. She then returned back downstairs to taste Mikyung's masterpiece.

"I'm thinking more garlic..." Mikyung paused and then jumped. "No! More chilli. Right?" She twisted her hair in her fingers.

"You're the chef here, don't ask me." Chanmi giggled.

"That's not useful! I'm panicking! I should bake some cookies for the hosts shouldn't I?" Mikyung threw her hands up.

"Calm down." Chanmi chuckled at her panicked state. "Bake cookies for them and more chilli." Chanmi said leaving the kitchen to go back to her computer.

"Thankyou~" She chimed in a sing-song voice, grabbing the chilli powder from the cupboard and tapping it into the sauce before serving the food up.

"Dinner's done when you're ready! Also, should I do my famous black and white rainbow cookies?" Mikyung asked, taking off her red frilly apron her mother gave her as a leaving present.

"Yes, they're a favourite!" Chanmi called out. She quickly replied to her emails and then made her way downstairs with a huge smile plastered on her face.

"My worldwide famous cookies it is." Mikyung nodded, writing on their kitchen chalkboard the plans for the cookies. She sat at a bar stool at their kitchen island and pushed Chanmi's bowl to her.
