The girls finally arrived home from work, their hair messy, clothes smelling, and their whole bodies aching. They had still been slightly hungover and completely over worked themselves today.
They were the only ones in all day and it was busy so as soon as they got home they just collapsed on the floor, too tired to move. "I am not moving from this spot." Mikyung huffed, pouting as she sat on the floor. Chanmi laid on the living room floor of her place next to Mikyung. "Me neither." she said.
Yoongi and Namjoon arrived back and stared at the two girls. "Don't ask." Chanmi spoke firmly upon hearing their arrival. Yoongi squinted his eyes at the two girls sprawled across the hallway and then laughed slightly, elbowing Namjoon as he snickered along with him. "Mikyung you've got something on your face there." Yoongi laughed, pointing out the flour all over her face that she had not bothered to wash off. "I am aware, thanks." She giggled, closing her eyes.
"Do you girls want some help off of the floor? It isn't very comfy down there." Namjoon asked sweetly. "Unless you can carry, don't bother." Chanmi said, staring at the ceiling. "I can carry, but only one at a time. And Mikyung doesn't live here." He spoke calmly, scratching the back of his neck. "She only lives next door." Chanmi said, trying to sit up. She slouched over. "Carry her. I'll be fine." she said. "Yoongi, help me up." she said, holding her hand out.
"You sure? I can get you both. I feel like Yoongi's too weak." Namjoon joked. "Hey fuck you dude. I'll take Mikyung home." He smiled, picking her up off the floor and carrying her next door into her bedroom. "Alrighty then." Namjoon said as he picked Chanmi up, carrying her in his strong arms to her bedroom. "Thank you." Chanmi smiled. He placed her gently down on her bed and stood awkwardly in her room. "Do you need anything or help with anything?"
"Uh.. I don't know." Chanmi thought. She sat up and cupped her cheeks. "I need to change but I'm too.. achey to do so." Chanmi laid back on her back, sighing heavily. Namjoon itched the back of his neck again. This was a thing he tended to do in situations where he gets anxious. "I... could help." He said quietly.
"No.. it's okay." Chanmi chuckled. "I- we're not." Chanmi sat up. "I'll be right back." she said, getting up. "Agh, my legs hurt." she whined, going to her closet and picking out a pair of shorts and a vest top. She then went to change and arrived back quickly. "Hey." she smiled
"Hi~" He waved back cutely, smiling and inverting his lips. This was a signature thing for Namjoon. Chanmi pushed her hair up into a high ponytail, tying it with a hair bobble. "So, uh..."
"Should I go? I should go..." He questioned, nodding and fiddling with his thumbs before walking to her door. Chanmi held onto his wrist. "No." she released his wrist. "I'm sorry... you can go." Chanmi turned away, crossing her arms.
"I'll stay if you want to... I thought you'd want privacy." He said softly. Chanmi turned around, staring at the floor. "Are you okay?" He asked, moving around to face her. Chanmi nodded. "I just ache." she said. "Do you know where Jisung is? Is he home?"
Namjoon sighed softly. "I guess. He's always home." He answered quietly before leaving her room and going to his own.
Chanmi watched him leave. She pouted her lips and then shrugged and went to see if Jisung was in his room. She knocked lightly. "Who is it? What do you want?" He answered grumpily.
"It's Chanmi. Are you busy?"
"Oh. No, come on in." He said, spinning his desk chair around to face the door. Chanmi opened the door and walked in. "Hey." she smiled.
"Hey there sexy." He smiled, flicking an elastic band against his hand. Chanmi smiled down at the floor. "How was your day?" she asked, sweetly.
"My day was okay, I got a bit of work done. How was yours?" He asked, staring her up and down and patting the bed indicating that she could sit. Chanmi sat on the bed. "My day was.. stressful. I was working for hours on end, the cafe was really busy today and not many staff. I overworked, again." Chanmi smiled.
