His eyes are still cold and dark as he looks up at me when I put my hand on his cheek that hasn't been in a fight. He winces, even though there are no bruises there. "Do you want me-" I start.
"No, I don't want you to do a thing." He looks and acts defensive and angry.
"What? Why?" I cross my arms, putting up a bulwark for my own good.
"Marlowe, I was trying to defend you. London was talking about you in the gym showers. How you were sexy now that you're taken and the only reason you're with me, or that I'm with you, is that I thought you'd put out. But Marlowe, that's not the case, you should know that." He changes his eyes from dark and angry to loving and apologetic. He defended me. He really does love me. We're a couple in public and he's now defending me to other people. I never thought I'd say that. I move myself in between him and reach up to kiss his forehead.
"I love you, you know that right?" I say quietly.
"I love you too M.D. you'll always be here for me right?" I feel his hand slip up my back and rub it lightly.
"I can't promise you anything-"
"I'm not asking for a promise, I'm asking a logical question."
"Okay, then yes, I'll always be here for you." I smile and we put our heads together lovingly, both of us breathing in each others scent.
"Oh shit, I'm sorry, I didn't know anyone was in here." David walks in casually.
"I swear to the god above David if you don't scram..." I make a cutting throat motion to David and he goes wide-eyed and leaves the room faster than you can say anything that is a six letter word.
"Hell, this boy of yours sure has some influence on you. One day you're running around in tight holey jeans with combat boots, the next you're talking like him." Billy shakes his head playfully.
"I know! What are we going to do with that boy?" I reply, smiling bigger.
"Well, it's not like you can get rid of him." He leans toward my right ear, biting it softly.
"What a shame." I laugh into his chest. The bell rings and we take our seats early before everyone gets into the room for study hall. Yes, we will have eyes staring and maybe a few dumbasses will drop a few comments about the way I am in bed. Or the way my ass clenches every time I feel myself getting ready to release, or the way that I scream when Billy makes me feel good. Oh, wait. Only Billy knows those things. And he knows them well.
While the laughter of various conversations spills out of the hallway and into the study hall I take out my English homework. I get it done within a few minutes and I get a note passed to me from the left side of me, where Donna sits. She passes the note and smiles. I smile back before I read it.
Bathroom, follow me out, I need to have a look at you. Just think, you, me, doing it on the sinks. -BILLY
I giggle and nod when I look back at him. We both leave and I stop him in the hallway. "You know that what you are about to do is what Steve Harrington did to Nancy when they first started dating."
"First off, we are not just starting out, we are in this for a few months now. And second off, ew, I'd rather not do it like Harrington."
"Then what do you want to do, there's like nowhere to go. Unless... you want to do it in a storage closet." I say raising my eyebrows up and down.
"No, I have a better idea."
"And what is that Billy Hargrove?" I ask suspiciously.
"Why don't we get the hell out of here, go somewhere like an abandoned parking lot and just have at it there?" I nod in a hurried manner and we rush out the high school doors. I have gotten myself into some heated, passionate shit.
