8: Sleepover at Lucy's

Is what it says" Lucy said after she read from the magazine, showing (stolen)pictures of both Juvia and Lyon inside a restaurant.

She glance across the hall to look at the said water mage who's eating her breakfast, and judging from her behaviour, it appears that she still have not heard of the article about her so-called love life yet.

Erza and Wendy, who accompanied Lucy looked over at Juvia as well, still couldn't believe at the sudden news.

Eventually, the said mage have finally felt the gazes that was directed to her, and glance at the source. She gave them a smile and went towards their table.

"Good morning, everyone. Juvia was wondering why were you gazing towards her?" She ask as she sat down, eyeing the three. Wendy, who couldn't stand being eyed for too long, gave her the magazine.

Juvia, scan the article, her eyes widen as she scan it once more, hoping that she read it wrong. She couldn't help but to voice her thoughts out, "W-What is the meaning of these lies?!"

"C-Calm down, Juvia-san" Wendy said as she frankly looking a way to calm the damsel mage.

"J-Juvia doesn't know what they meant, but Juvia knows that she only went with Lyon-sama because she was invited. Nothing more nothing less" she reasoned as she looked over the article once more.

"Juvia needs to clear her head. Excuse Juvia" she said then walk out of the guild.

Waking aimlessly, that's what Juvia's been doing the moment she walked out of the guild. The news sill bothered her, too much for her liking.

'Is Juvia really over Gray?'

'Should Juvia accept Lyon-sama's courtesy once and for all?'

Question after question popped inside her mind, making her a bit dizzy. She shook her head and slapped both of her cheeks, with a few minutes of thinking, she decided to go back to the guild.

As she gets near to the destination, a question,that shocked her, poped inside her mind causing her to stop right in front of the door.

'Juvia wonder what would be Gray's reaction if he hear the news...'

Her eyes widen from shock, why on earth would she care about what that guy thinks?! With a soft sigh, she slowly open the door with a tired expression.

"Oh hey Juvia", the said person jolt due to the sudden appearance of Gray. She quickly collect herself and smile, "Hello Gray", she greeted him before walking to the bar.

"Welcome back, Juvia-chan" Mira greeted her with a bright smile. "Juvia's sorry about earlier" Juvia apologize while bowing.

"It's alright, Juvia-chan. We totally understand, by the way.." Mira trailed making to look over her, "We're gonna have a sleep over at Lucy's, wanna come?" She asked as she flash her pleading expression.

Juvia thought for a bit before nodding, "Sure, Juvia is very much delighted" she answered much to her friend's delight.

Mira, Erza, Lucy, Carla, Wendy and Juvia circled themselves at the middle of the room, in their own pajamas. Snacks and Drinks are scattered in front of them as they lay on the floor with their own pillows under them.

"So Juvia.." Erza called making the said girl to looked up from her snacks to her, "What's going on with you and Lyon?" She asked, while Juvia chocked her food, while coughing, she reassured the girls with a small weak thumbs up.

"Please don't surprise Juvia like that, Erza-san" she plead after she drank water. The said person smile apologetically, while saying a quick "sorry".

The girls continue to eye Juvia, patiently waiting for an answer, with a long sigh she close the drink, "There's nothing happening between Juvia and Lyon-sama" she answered.

"But... you guys went on a dinner date last night, Juvia-san" Wendy said as she sat up while hugging her pillow, a small "Yeah" can be heard from Carla, clearly siding the little girl.

"It's not a dinner date, Wendy-san, or at least, that's what Juvia thinks.." she said unsure while taking a seat as well. " I see" Wendy mumbled.

"Look Juvia-chan, from your point of view, you only see it as a friendly hang out, but to the others- especially Lyon- it's like a date." Mira said as she eats her snack, while Lucy just nod firmly.

"I know you didn't mean anything I will say, but from the other's point of view, it's like you're using Lyon to get over Gray..." Erza said as she ate her strawberry cake while looking at Juvia.

"I'm sorry, Juvia. But Erza's right, it's like you're using Lyon to show that you've gotten over Gray" Carla added as she apologize once more.

Juvia shook her head with a small frown, "Maybe it's what you guys are saying, maybe Juvia unconsciously used Lyon-sama..." she said quietly.

"Juvia will apologize to Lyon-sama next time we'll meet" she added with a small smile before laying down again. "Maybe we should sleep now, after all, Wendy's sleeping already" Carla said in a shush voice while pointing at the sleeping mage.

Everyone lay down as Lucy turn off the light after they tidy up the snacks and drinks,"Juvia-chan" Mira called quietly, the said girl hummed softly, "Please understand your feeling sooner" Mira continued before yawning, and said a soft "Good night."

----[Before Juvia's Return]----

"Juvia-san look so troubled" Wendy said as she lay her head on the table, looking over the door.

"I know!!" Mira exclaimed behind them, surprising the girls and caught the other's attention, "Why don't we have a sleepover tonight? That would cheer her up" she suggested as she sat down.

"That's a great idea, Mira. But where?" Lucy agreed before thinking, the other girls looked over her at the same time, the blonde noticed their gaze and chuckle nervously, "My house?" She asked, the girls nod together while smiling sweetly.

"I don't mind, but you guys should bring some foods and drinks, Natsu already emptied my fridge this morning" she said before falling to a depression.

And as cue, the said mage came walking towards them with a toothy grin, "I heard my name, what is it?" He ask. " Nothing, we were just planning for our sleepover tonight" Mira answered happily.

Nasty beamed before asking, "Cool, is Lucy coming as well?", the others eyed each other before grinning, "Of course, it is her house" they answered together, except for Lucy.

"Then can I come?" He asked while pleading the girls, but they answered with a big fat NO, much to the boy's disappointment. He pouted before walking out, mumbling something like "But I wanna come too, Lucy's there."
