Chapter 2: Get Yourself Together

Feeling like a sharp blade has suddenly been stabbed towards her chest, standing there in complete shock with her hands covering her mouth. It's really ironic one how one minute life can be rainbow and sunshine and the next a rain cloud has decided to pour its dark waters into it. Starring at the sight at her in utter pity and disbelief, doing her best to maintain a straight face in order to prevent watchful eyes. All she could do was to gape at her shattered friend, who is in front of her crying her eyes out with her cheeks all red and her heart totally broken by the one person whom she thought couldn't ever possibly hurt her. Archer Fox.

Remembering that this morning his car had been parked in front of a huge mansion, which looked a lot like Alice Hills home. Wondering how she couldn't had not noticed it before, it was pretty obvious that it was her house. Also for the past few weeks, Archer had been acting quite shabby. Yes, he still gave Hayley those occasional roses and smooth words, but there were those times when he suddenly disappears out of nowhere then the next day, he comes back with a gift or a surprise to Hayley which makes them forget about everything. Recently, skipping classes was his thing to do where in usually he would've stayed since Hayley was in most of them. Come to think of it, asides from school Archer hasn't really been spending time with Hayley. Before he would constantly sit with her at lunch, now he seemed to have left her and joined 'the' table. She couldn't believe how blind she was! The guy was being to obvious, red lights were already flickering right in front of her and she still can't see them because he seemed to have her decieved with the "perfect" boyfriend facade.

"How dare he!" fired Dementia, who is now shaking in anger towards that stupid jerk.

'I mean who the heck gives him the right to do that to girls? The nerve he had to even ask her friend to Homecoming just so in the end he can so gladly disapoint her by another what she assumed to be a fling. Doesn't he even have the decency to at least break up with her before throwing himself at a plastic doll? Has he have any idea what Hayley has experienced, that she doesn't deserve to be thrown away just like that?! Give at least some respect!' she thought, but was just simply containing herself before she screams to the world on what she thinks of him.

" Dementia, its fine really...I'm okay." trying her best to speak to her friend but her voice was literally cracking and the tearing keeps rolling down her cheeks while trying to wipe them away , also her face says it all.

" No you're not! And I am not going to stand here doing nothing about it!" Dementia hated screaming at her friend, but as they say 'Desprate times, call for desperate measures.'

" Ok well tell me then Demi, what am I supposed to do? He cheated on me, Archer cheated on me...." snifling at the thought of the sight she had seen a while ago.

" So we make him pay!" proclaimed Dementia, when Hayley's head suddenly shot up hey eyes now filled with curiosity.

" But h-how?" she slammered.

" One word: REVENGE." with that a mischevious grin started making its way up to her lips, Hayley knew that look and she didn't like it one bit. Knowing that her friend already hatched up a plan for this however this plan will only cause them more trouble.

" Look Demi, I don't think thats a good idea..." prosesting at her while taking the hanky handed to her and started blowing her runny nose.

" Listen I have a plan and its gonna be a good one, trust me on this Hale." she pleaded back to her friend determined to convince her.

" Fine...." answering back with much hestitation in her mind.

" Great! Here is how its gonna work, since Archer doesn't know that you know yet lets use that to our advantage. Tomorrow at school don't bring the topic up or don't even tell him, let him find out himself. Give him the silent treatment, you know the 'cold shoulder' that will be like a bucket of ice being shoved down his spine. Once he finds out, we're going to get someone to pretend to be your new boyfriend. Although we have to make sure that this 'someone' is really going to make that no good Archer burn in jelousy. Then when he does thats where it gets fun we will be able to mess with him, make him go crazy that he ever did that to you and when he comes crawling back to you, you can dump it on him right on the spot. Now hows that sound?"
