Hi my name is Lilly. A normal girl in a normal town doing normal things. Today I am hanging out with my best friends Harley, Hannah, and Madison. We are going to the pumpkin patch. All of us right now are in Madison's car. I look ahead at the road ahead of me. When no one speaks I soon ask, "How much longer???" I whine.
"Aww are you turning into a little kid again?" asks Harley
        "No!" I laugh
"Ok good," Hannah tells us with a huge grin.

I stare out the window watching the cars pass by one by one. I start to lean back and close my eyes when I see a car almost crash into us. "WATCH OUT!!!"

Madison slams on her breaks and thankfully we don't crash. Madison is now stopped on the side of the highway. I see the car just ahead of us, a white Toyota. I see some older people driving the car and I guess they didn't even notice. I see them turning onto a quieter road and almost hit a deer. I feel bad for the deer. I guess they just have very bad eyesight.

I glance over at everyone else and see so much shock on their faces. I don't seem so surprised. Wait are they going into shock? I think they are??? When no one says anything I say, "Are you guys ok?"
Madison looks over and replies, "Y... y... yeah..., C.. c... can you take over... the w... wheel..?"
       "I will," I replied.

We get out of her basil green colored Subaru that is parked along the side of the highway and trade places. I start driving and soon ask, "Are we still going to the pumpkin patch?"
        "YES!!!" they all say desperately.
"Ok ok ok we will still go," I laugh.

Then we all laugh forgetting what almost just happened. I am happy we all got it back together. I soon see the sign to the pumpkin patch reading, "Bill and Barley's happy pumpkin patch!" I think we are all relieved to see it. I soon say out loud, "We're here!"
"Oh my gosh! I've waited all year!" Harley said.
"Same," Madison and Hannah replied on key.

I turn onto the road going to the pumpkin patch. Then I drive for about half a mile and finally see the parking spots in the grass all tied off by ropes. I pull into an open spot and turn the engine off. I unbuckle my seatbelt and soon hear the rest of the girls doing the same. I soon open up the door and step outside. The air is brisk and chilly. I look down at my clothes which are a red plaid long sleeve shirt with blue ripped jeans and finally a light grey jacket. I pull my jacket even tighter around me. It is cold enough for a warm fuzzy jacket and a warm drink. "If I knew it was gonna be cold I would have picked another day," said Hannah.
"Oh it's not that cold!" replied Harley.
"Mmmm just the perfect weather to have warm pumpkin spice donuts and warm apple cider," I say.
"Ooooo I can't wait," Madison says happily.

I walk up to the ticket booth that is in a little shed painted brown and purchase tickets for all of us. I noticed the price has gone up a dollar more wondering why. The price is now $5. At least I brought around $50 for tickets, rides, food, pumpkins, apples, a few show skits, and to feed the animals. Once I got the tickets and gave them to my friends I said, "The prices have really gone up. I wonder why."
"Maybe they added something new?" someone said.

I look at Hannah who is shivering at this point in thin black pants and a t-shirt with a very light jacket. Her wavy waterfall of blond hair is down at her shoulders. I think it is very oddly cold and feel very sorry for her. We all walk in through the front gate and head for the apple cider and pumpkin spice donuts stand.
