Beyond the Street (Yoonmin)

~Chapter 8~

Yoongi's P.O.V

I walked down the hallway to my locker. It's only 5th period and I am so nervous to show up to the races tonight. I still have some fading bruises. I get a headache every now and then, but other than that I am fine. Hoseok is doing better to. He convinced me to get ready for tonight's race. He said he doesn't really race much, but loves to be at the party's. I put my things in my locker and head to the cafeteria. 

"Hey! Hey wait!" I turned around to find Jimin. Damn he is so beautiful. 

"Uhh, hi." He smiled and waved. He looks like a little mochi. 

"Yoongi, right?" I nodded and continued to stare at him. "So are you coming to the races? My friend Jungkook said you were." 

"Ya me and Hoseok are going together." I noticed his smile dropped when I mentioned Hoseok's name. 

"Are you guys, like, together? Like dating?" I widen my eyes and laughed. 

"No no, we are just really close friends that's all." Jimin nodded and looked to the floor. "Well I got to go, so I will see you tonight." He smiled and and I waved goodbye. Such a cutie.

Third Person

Hoseok was driving to the place where the races are held. He and Yoongi made sure to look their best. Hoseok wearing a demi jacket with a white shirt and his jeans. Yoongi had his night black leather jacket with a white shirt and black ripped jeans. 

They pulled into a spot and got out of the car seeing a race was about to start. Yoongi made his way to find the drinks and food bar. Hoseok went to the dance floor and just flirted with some girls and guys. 

"Hey you came." Yoongi smiled at the familiar voice. 

"Ya, I did. Hopeful this will help me relax." Jimin smiled and continued to talk to Yoongi.

"Ahhh, I win again! Give me that money!" Kai and his gang were playing cards near the racing area. He glanced up at the crowd and saw the same guy Jimin was talking to a few weeks ago. There he was doing it again. "He just doesn't stop does he?" 

"Who doesn't stop?" He turned to find his best friend Seokjin. 

"I need you do to me a favor Jin." The older furrowed his eyebrows wondering what the younger wanted. 

"Sure what is it?" 

"I need you to find out who that is." Kai turned to point at the blonde boy and Jimin. His blood boiled when he saw how close they where. He quickly got up and went to them. 

"Kai wait!"

Hoseok was having a time of his life, but it soon ended when Kai the DK was practicality running towards Jimin and Yoongi. 

"Oh shit." He ran just in time to grab Yoongi and move him away. "Kai, Kai, Kai, let's talk this out bro. He was just talking." 

"You said that last time. I don't recall talking as getting so close to each other." 

"Kai, babe, please stop." Jimin turned to his boyfriend and looked him in the eyes. Kai couldn't help to fall deep. 

"Why can't he talk to me? I see him talking to other guys all the time. What about them huh?" Yoongi raised his arm and yelled. 

"Don't threatening me like how you are doing." Yoongi laughed and clicked his tongue. 

"I am threatening you? Talking to you boyfriend is threatening to you. I will show you a threat." Yoongi walked up to Kai ready to punch, but Hoseok held him back. 

"You want to fight? We will fight." 

"Ohh, you don't know what I did to the last kid I fought." 

"Hold on one minute. You yall know we take fight here." Jungkook was standing on one of the tables. "If wanna settle this race for it." 

"This bitch doesn't even have a car to race with." Yoongi growled and tried to pry away Hoseok's hold. 

"He can borrow mine." Everyone froze at the voice being said. Yoongi turned and saw a man with reddish hair. He looked about in his 20's and was holding a bag of chips. Yoongi go out of Hoseok's hold and the man threw keys that the younger swiftly caught. 

"Look's like the boy has a car now. Soo...LETS RACE!" Everyone cheered and heading to the race arena. Kai just just glared at the male and walked to his car.

Hoseok and Yoongi were in the elevator waiting. 

"Can he drive?" Hoseok stared at him like it was the dumbest question in the world. 

"Can he drive? Do know what DK stands for?" 

"Donkey Kong?" Hoseok shook his head and looked down. 

"Drift King." 

"Drift? What the hell is that?" Soon the elevator opened and reveled two cars swiftly gliding on the concrete. Yoongi's mouth dropped and started at how the turned every corner so good. 

"Now do you understand?" The younger nodded and walked to the car that the one guy let him use. Yoongi was memorized by the car. "Now remember this car is like the Mona Lisa. Is it very precious and Zico built this thing himself." Yoongi nodded and he got in and buckled up.

"Can you give me a thirty second lesson on how to drift?" 

"Ok there is a lot of ways you can do this. First I want you to rip that E brake, then I want you to pow over." Yoongi just stared at Hoseok understanding nothing. "You know what, just don't wreck Mona." 

Yoongi pulled up the starting line where Kai was. He breathed in and out. Of course it wasn't his first time racing. He race plenty of times. It's the drifting that's setting him off. A black haired boy came in front of the cars. 

"Ready." He pointed to a girl on his right. 

"Setto." He pointed to the girl on his left. Yoongi was filled with anxiety. 

"GO!" He pushed on the gas and went. At first he was doing well until it came to a turn. I turned but ended up crashing into a wall. Kai chuckled and swiftly glided around the corner. Meanwhile Hoseok was shaking his head at the male who gave Yoongi his car to race. 

"You made a very big mistake Zico." The older shrugged and went to the elevator to go to the top. 

Yoongi crashed into so many things wrecking Zico's car. Kai was at the end of the path waiting. He rolled down his window and motioned for Yoongi to come. He shifted in gear and and Kai drove backwards to get to the top. He turned around his car and glided on the circle path. Everyone cheered when he was the first one up. 

"Ma boy!" Jin yelled and Kai ruffled his hair and hugged him. Kai saw Jimin smile at him. 

"I knew you would win." Jimin kissed his lips. 

"I always win baby." Kai smirked. Soon screams where heard when another vehicle approached.The bumper was completly off and the one of the headlights were damaged. 

"This idiot." SeokJin said to Kai. Jimin frowned and looked at Yoongi and the car. Hoseok couldn't believe what he was seeing. Zico on the other hand dropped his chip he was eating. Yoongi felt embarrassed and sinked into the seat. 

"Don't leave town." Was what Zico said to him before walking away. 

OK now Zico is here. I have been trying to figure out what that area is called where they race. I want to call it a parking lot cause it looks like one but I don't think I should. If you have any ideas let me know. And I am also sorry about the late updates.
