"Help!" I shriek as I run across the field to Counselors Hideout. Behind me right now are about thirty girls ages ranging from eight to sixteen and they are all after me. "Cole; Colin!" I shout, the two well built boys run towards me, the minute they see the mob behind me their eyes widen and Colin picks me up,
"What's happening?" Cole screams,
"Ashley." Is all I can say, out of breath in my ex boyfriends arms. The girls are getting closer now and one of them manages to trip Colin causing me to go flying forwards in his arms.
Freeze
You all are probably very confused right now. Right?
Well-so am I. But seeing as you are probably much more confused about what's happening it might be nice of me to start you from the beginning.
It also would be nice of me to give you a fair warning.
What you are about to read does not have a happy ending, you will cry, you may shout, you may even throw this book across the room, but just remember I warned you.
So buckle up ladies and gentlemen and please keep all arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times because you are about to go on the loopiest, twistiest, craziest, emotional rollercoaster of a lifetime.
-Two Weeks Prior-
July 1st 2018My best friend and I are going to camp for two weeks. Two whole weeks of no drama, no high school, no teachers and best of all no homework.
Of course it is summer vacation so there really isn't much of that anyways, but something about Camp Greenfield makes life disappear for a little while.
"Ready?" my best friend, Gracie Lovewell asks,
"Ready." we smile at each other and take each others hands. We pack all of our stuff in my grandfathers truck with time left to spare,
"Do you girls want ice cream?" My grandmother asks; my friend and I both nod. We go to the store and order two milkshakes, because milkshakes are bomb and no one can ever change that opinion.
On our way to camp we sit in silence, savoring our last minutes with our phones: saying goodbye, making sure someone is keeping our Snapchat streaks and replying to everyone who asks where we are going.
We pull in and I see a big colorful sign that says "Camp Greenfield - God Be With You" Camp Greenfield is small with about fifty kids attending, the camp doesn't have a lot of money but they have lots of scholarships; which is how Gracie got to go, and they have amazing meals with an amazing chef and really nice people work there.
