I woke up startled by the loud bell ringing in my ears.
"Aw shit" I cuss under my breath. I roll out of bed and slip off my gown and into my black trousers and white shirt.
"I know, I'm sick of these ugly outfits too."
I whip around and see Aliyah and my heart rate begins to slow.
"First off, you read my mind, and secondly, if you pull that again you're getting a knife to the throat."
"Woah woah, be quiet princess," Aliyah whispered. "Maybe if we are quiet and sneak in, they won't notice we are late to breakfast."
After I got my boots on, we sped walked down the rows on rows of beds and into the dining hall. The second we opened that door the entire room was silent.
As we slowly and catiously walked down the middle of the tables Aliyah said under her breath "Wow these people need some pills."
"Aliyah and Cora, please come to my prayer room after breakfast."
"Yes, Sister Celestia."
Later on that day, when we went to Sister Celestia's office, Aliyah asked me a question I never really thought about. "What are we going to do when we escapee? Honestly, we need a plan because we joke but this place is hell and we are leaving as soon as possible."
Of course have thought about it, every minute of every day, but all this dreaming and I still have no legitimate plan.
As I was deep in thought about life after the orphanage, we finally made it to Sister Celestia's office.
Now, some backround info on Sister Celestia would be good for you.
Celestia was raised in a home of four older brothers. She is bound to be a little competitive, and easily tempered, but for some reason she has always put up with me and Aliyah's shinanagains, for a reason I really don't know. Celestia became a Sister at the age of 20 and has worked at Saint Maria's since.
"Come in," Sister Celestia waves as she calmly takes her glasses off. "Now, I understand you both were tardy to breakfast...again?"
"Yes, Sister-"
"Look here missy," Aliyah stands out of her seat and rebelliously puts her hands on Sister's desk. "We know the drill, we apologize and all that, but we are all sixteen now, being a few minutes late to breakfast shouldn't be a big deal, right?"
This, this right here was the absolute worst thing Aliyah could've said.
Sister Celestia takes a deep breath and slowly removes her glasses, looking Aliyah right in the eye. "If you ever disrespect me like that again, I will send you to Sister Elizabeth."
Aliyah rapidly puts her ass right where it belongs, in that chair.
Sister Elizabeth was the most evil sister there is. She has no remorse for any child, she actually scares grown women, and she doesn't like puppies. What kind of phsychopath doesn't like puppies?
"Both of you will be sent to The Pit for an hour after lunch."
Little did I know, this is where it all began...
