After The Fire Burns Out

Chapter 6

"Hey guys come choose your room and unpack and whatever." Ashley yelled from inside. I grabbed my suitcase and Carmen and walked in. I looked around in awe it was huge. I walked up the flight of stairs and choose a room. It was cream white with a queen bed. The covers and pillows were ocean blue. It had a walk in closet and a dresser. The bedside table had a lamp. Everything was yellow the bedside table, the dresser, the desk and in the corner there was a crib that was also yellow with ocean blue covers. I unpacked mine and Carmen's thing and went down stairs to get some food.

"What's for supper?" I asked Jake who was just sitting on the couch with the rest of the guys.

"The neighbours wanted us to come over for supper."

"Cool when do we leave?"

"Um...25-30 minuets." I ran upstairs to where Carmen was sleeping. "Carmen wake up." She woke up and smiled at me.

"Hey Carmen. We're going to the neighbours for dinner." I dressed her and put her in her crib then got dressed myself. I wore a red dress with white polka dots. I decided to look hipster. I wore my glasses with red lipstick and black Mary Janes. I grabbed Carmen and walked over with Ash. Jack just stared. I walked over to him and smacked him.

"Wha-what happened!"

"You were staring at something." He looked down. "Andy. I'm too lazy to walk over. Carry me?" I pleaded with my best puppy dog eyes.

"Fine come here." He sighed. I jumped onto his back and he walked next door. Jake knocked and a young couple opened the door. They looked surprised at first by our appearance and the fact that a 16 year old girl was being carried. Andy put me down. "Hi. I'm Andy, and these are my bands mates. Jake, Ashly and C.C. Jinxx will be here soon with our girl friends Sammi, Ella and Juliet, and this is Blaze and Carmen my adopted daughters, Ash he's Jinxx's adopted son. Okay well all the kids are adopted just telling you that so I don't have to say it. Vex is C.C's son and Jack is Ashly's son."

"H-hi I'm Lisa and this is my husband Brian. I'll just call down our son. He's also adopted. Sweetheart come down here." She smiled at us. "Well come in. Brian go get him." She showed us to her living room. It had light wood floors and walls, all of the furniture was black.

"What did you want Lisa." A voice said from behind me. I stiffened.

"You have to meet the neighbours." Everyone was looking with shocked faces.

"Fine. YOUR BLACK VEIL BRIDES."

"Well it was lovely meeting you but Blaze has to go put Carmen down for a nap..." Andy looked nervous so did I.

"Wait Blaze and Carmen?" The voice walked in front of me. It was Duke.
