Teased the Teaser

One-short story, enjoy!

"Hey Yellow",Red called to the short blonde who was doodling on her notebook. "Hm?",Yellow asked smiling, tilting her head up and tilting her hat up in the process. The day was sunny, so Yellow deemed her hat necessary.

Red plopped down next to her, a little too close for a friend. Yellow averted her eyes from him to her drawing, a light blush making its way to her cheeks. This didn't go unnoticed by the red-eyed male.

"What are you drawing?",He asked leaning towards her to get a closer look at the drawing. Yellow's face turned a darker shade of pink. Not trusting herself to speak, she pointed forward where their trusted partners,Pika and ChuChu, lay sleeping.

Red looked at what she pointed at then at the drawing. It wasn't finished yet, which is why Red couldn't tell what or who she was drawing. While it may not be done, there were striking similarities. It's to be expected of the best artist he knows!

Red smiled as his eyes drifted to Yellow. Her green-yellow eyes were trying their best to not meet his gaze, her blonde bangs were hanging loosely from her forehead. To Red, she looked beautiful. He had always wanted to ask Yellow out, but with him being the kanto champion he knew couldn't manage a relationship. There were always dangers everywhere as well, who knows when an enemy will attack? What if they know Red loves her? She'll be an even bigger target, so all he can do now is act. Act like he sees her as a friend, or a little sister.

"S-so!",Yellow managed to say which dragged Red out of his thoughts. "What are you doing here?",she asked smiling yet by her tone, he could tell she was still flustered.

Just because he couldn't date her, didn't mean he can't tease her a bit. Red smiled at her. "Just felt like seeing you",He says looking at their sleeping Pikachu's.

Yellow's face was now a crimson color. "O-oh..",was all she said as she kept drawing while trying to ignore the fact that he was so close. She could smell wet grass coming off of him. It was natural of course, Red spent a lot of his time training outdoors and it had rained like crazy a few days ago.

Yellow kept her eyes on her notebook and kept drawing although it now seemed to be exceedingly difficult with her crush just centimeters away from her. She felt something heavy lean on her shoulder and when she turned she was just centimeters away from her crush's now sleeping face.

Yellow's face went scarlet. "U-um..Red?",she asked quietly. Red stayed still. Yellow looked away and turned to Pika and ChuChu. The two were still asleep and cuddling.

She just wished she and Red could have a relationship like that...Yellow felt another wave of a blush appear. What was she thinking?! It could never happen, she and Red are just friends!! If anything, they're like family.

Yellow sighed quietly as to not wake Red. What was she to Red anyway? Why did he tease her so much? Yellow blinked. Tease. That's all it was. Teasing.

Yellow kept drawing and smiled sadly. Teasing. That's all it will be. It's the same way a sibling teases another sibling right? She eventually drifted off to sleep, with those sad thoughts in her mind.

"I deny",Blue said crossing her arms. Yellow blinked and sweatdropped. "Why? I mean...it's not like he'd care-",she began.

"Don't be daft Yellow! Of course Red likes you! Right Green?",Blue asked from her spot on Green's bed. Green sighed, Blue was currently sitting on him and while he would love his legs back, he didn't have the guts to tell his girlfriend to move.

"I...I guess?",Green said unsure of what to say. Blue stared at him then sighed and turned to Yellow.
"You shouldn't give up on him Yellow...you know how Red. Whenever he does something it's for a reason. So him teasing you must mean something right?",she said.

"I..I guess?",Yellow said tilting her head sounding just as unsure as Green had before. "Okay...how about you tease Red? That way if he makes a reaction, you can be sure he likes you!",Blue said smiling. 'Aaaannnd my ship won't be destroyed',she added quietly in her head.

Green sighed, he knew his girlfriend had other reasons to suggest this. "..Okay",Yellow said smiling nervously.

"Snorlax, Return!",Red said as the pokéball returned to his hand. He chucked the pokéball in his pocket and began to walk. He stopped when he heard talking.

"Come on Sapphire! I think Yellow needs a dress and you have a similar body type as her! Just let me-",Ruby said pouting. Red raised an eyebrow. Why was Ruby (and apparently Sapphire) here? They must've come a long way from hoenn so it must be important right? Also...a dress? For Yellow?

"No Ruby! We're already here just take her measures and make her dress!",Sapphire huffed. Ruby sighed. "Finnneee....ou! I should make a dress so beautiful that Red will fall in love with her even more!"

'Even more',Red thought with a small blush. So..everyone knew he liked Yellow? And this dress... As much as he was embarrassed to admit it, he wanted to see Yellow wear the dress...

Yellow walked outside her house with the new dress Ruby had made for her. It was indeed beautiful, simple but beautiful and with her ponytail no longer hidden with her hat she herself looked gorgeous...or so Blue and Ruby keep telling her.

"Yellow?",A familiar voice called from behind her. Yellow jumped a bit in surprise and turned to face Red. Red looked at her and blushed. She looked absolutely adorable he couldn't take it.

Her blonde hair was tied neatly in a ponytail, a white dress hugged her waist not too loose and not too tight. Blue had lent her some white slippers to fit in with her dress.

"...hi..",Yellow blushed looking down so as to not meet his gaze. Red blushed more as he released he was staring and smiled "Hey...are you going somewhere? I can come another time.."

'Tease Yellow, tease!',she thought then looked up at Red. "Uh...yeah...im going on a date",she lied and it felt weird how easily she was able to do it.

"Oh...",Red said blinking as he tried to ignore the jealousy growing in him. Someone was taking her on a date? How lucky they were...

Yellow had been watching his features after she said this. She could tell the idea bothered him but why she couldn't tell. She then smiled. "Kidding."

Red blinked. "..what?",he asked. Yellow held back a giggle. "I said im kidding..I was only teasing",she said as she began to walk.

"Probably",she continued and smiled. "What? What do you mean probably??? Hey Yellow wait!",Red said running to catch up to her.
