"P'Kriiisstt ..."

Krist turns his head to his sister whose running towards him, when he will leave for work to interview on one of TV channel.

"What's wrong, Kat?"

"P'Krist, what time will you finish your work today?"

"Um ... Maybe around 4 PM."

"Okay, then, can you take me to a stationery shop later? I want to buy some books and other stationery."

Krist frowned, "Strange. Usually you will go alone or asking mom to go with you, right?"

"No, I don't want to! I want to go with P'Krist. Since you're busy working, you rarely spend a time with me." The girl said while putting out her lips.

"But Kat,"

"I think P'Singto can wait." as if she knew what her brother wanted to say, Kat continued to force while tugging at the sleeve of his brother's jacket. "Come ooooonnn ... Go with me. Na na na?"

"Alright, okay. When I already finishing my duty, I'll pick you up." Krist finally relents.

"Yeaaayyyy ... Thank you P'Krist ... You're the best!" Kat shouted with joy.

Krist nods his head as he climbs to his car and goes to work.

"Sing ... Singto ... Let's wake up ..."

Singto blinked his eyes softly. Sleepiness still prevails, but the soft voice in his right ear forces him to wake up immediately.

"Come on big boy, wake up. You don't want to see your gift?"

Singto finally opened his eyes slowly. And the first thing he saw was the beautiful face of his mother who smiled softly at him.

"Sing, let's wake up. You have to open your prize."

Singto widened his eyes. He wants to talk, but his mouth is tightly closed. His heart was beating fast, when the middle-aged woman's soft hand who he really missed, was touching his left cheek gently.

"My son..." she said.

"M-Mom ..." Singto said softly.

"Sing, happy birthday. Let's open your prize. Your mother chose a special gift for you." Said his father who was also standing there.

Singto got up from his position. He sat on his bed and looked at amazement of the two people who meant so much in his life.

"Dad ... M-Mom ... Y-you ..." Singto stammered.

"Happy birthday, Sing." Singto's mom then handed out several boxes that were neatly wrapped by wrapping paper.

Singto smiled, almost crying. Not because he was given a gift, but because the woman in front of him right now, the woman he missed so much, looked very beautiful with his long hair.

Singto remembers how his mother's condition was before. How depressed his mother was, when her hair was almost gone all because of the chemotheraphy effect. He remembered how he wanted to maintain his long hair, for the sake of his mother. So that his mother can play his hair and hope that it can reduce a bit of his mother's sadness.

Singto wants to cry. Because now, what he saw in front of him, his mother's condition was far different. His mother is very beautiful and looks so fresh. The pain on her face that Singto had seen for years, now disappeared. All he saw was a smile of happiness that emanating from that beautiful face.
