Hi, My name is Leilani Morgan! I'm a 12 year old girl from Melbourne, Australia who doesn't fit in with my family... Like at all. I have dirty blonde hair and blue eyes where as though the rest of my family all have dark brown hair and hazel or brown eyes. Not only that but all of their facial features are totally different from mine. I know and have known for a while now that there is something they are not telling me.

At the start of next year, I will be starting year 7 with my best friend Liliana. We have been friends ever since prep, ever since the first day we met. We are pretty much the same person and our birthdays are only 3 days apart so I think it was meant to be. She just turned 13 yesterday which means mine is in 2 days. 12/12/2005.

I am an only child which I benefit from at times like getting my parents all to myself. They pay amazing amounts of attention to me and we all have a very close relationship as it is just them and I. But at times there is also a downside. Sometimes I wish I came from a big family with siblings so we can hang out and talk about things I feel uncomfortable talking to my parents about.

I'm not all alone though. I have many cousins who I am close to but again it's hard because we all know there is something not right about our family's situation, Meaning me, which can ultimately end up in me feeling isolated at times. I know they mean no harm and would never make me feel like this on purpose, I think it comes more from my thoughts rather than their actions.

I would just like some answers to put an end to all the questions I have.
