I'll show you love - The Wanted (Nathan) Fanfic

Part 1 -

I slid off my jacket and threw it onto the dirt that was burying the root's of the tree's. I then pulled my shitty old nokia phone out of the back pocket of my jean's, it wasn't going to be much use to me now so i took one last look at the picture on my home screen and smiled as the wonderfull memorie's entered my mind one last time before throwing it ontop of my jacket.  

I rested my hand on the bark of the tree to support myself as i slid my (what used to be white) trainer's through the goopy mud in order to get closer to the edge. I looked down at my fate, the earthy wall's of the fast flowing river were much taller than i thought. I took one last look up at the dark blue sky which was getting darker and darker by the minute, hoping to get a glimpse of the first star of the night but i couldn't see much due to all the tree's around me blocking my view, I closed my eye's for a moment and listened to the sound of the wind blowing through the leaf's of the tree's causing the branches to crash into one another, the sound of the bird's chirping and the noise of the river roaring as it flowed beneath the branches of the tree's. I squeezed my eye's firmly shut, trying to hold back my tear's as i took another step forward and inhaled my last breath deeply and raised my right foot expecting this to be my last step before suddenly i felt a pair of arm's wrap around my waist and pull me back, dragging my feet back through the mud.

"What on earth do you think you're doing?" a deep manly voice spoke to me in a farmer's accent as he held me at arm's length. I slowly peeled open my tear filled eye's to get a glimpse of his face, The moonlight making his triangular shaped face, adorable button nose, floppy brown fringe and peircing greeny-blue eye's just about visible. I just stared at his beautiful young face as a tear escaped from my eye and rolled down my cheek not sure as to whether i should tell my reason to a complete stranger,

"Well?" he asked demanding an answer,

"Just leave me be" i ordered as i wiped away my tear's, i then took a step away from him and turned my back to him and crossed my arm's over my chest like a stroppy five year old,

"But what were you doing standing soo close to the edge? you could have fallen into the river and drowned!" he exclaimed,

"Well that was kinda the idea" whispered quietly under my breath but unfortunately it was still loud enough for him to hear,

"What? why? why would you want to do that?" he asked as he walked around me and stopped infront of me so i was looking at him again,

"Oh like i'm gonna tell you" i said stubbornly,

"Look i may not know what your problem is but surely it can't be bad enough for you to want to kill yourself" he said,

"Well it is now goodbye" i said as i barged past him and continued to walk through the wood's,

"Wait" he said as he grabbed my hand and spun me round so i was facing him yet again,

"I can't just let you go knowing you're just going to try and commit suicide some other way" he said,

"Well what are you going to do? follow me?" i said cockily,

"Well do you not have a friend or family member that i could take you home to?" he asked,

"No" i replied quietly,

"Do you not have any friend's or family?" he asked,

"No i have no one okay!" i said raising my voice slightly as i was getting sick of his question's,

"And you might as well just leave me be because there's nothing you can do or say that's gonna make me feel any better" i said as i barged past him again and carried on walking through the wood's.
