When you are as old as I am, you learn to evolve.

James Buchanan Barnes was incredibly shocked to see his lover was alive. After the two of them left the prison camp, then Olivander disappeared.

"Do you want to talk?" She asked.

"I thought you had died, Olivan-Octavia. Why didn't you tell me? I mourned you." He whispered walking over to the small woman.

"I know, Darling I'm so sorry but I had to go, I had to give you the tools to survive. But I also knew I couldn't stay."

"Does Steve know?" He asked, barely any space was left between the ex-lovers.

"No, maybe he will. But I planned on leaving before you could recognize me. So good-bye will be much harder." She whispered, placing her rough hand on his arm. "How about this, spend the night with me, and I will stay in touch with you. But I will need to leave. We won't have to do anything, I've changed a lot since last time and I don't know if you'd want the real me. Just hold me, for old times sake."

"Doll, I can't believe you're here. Of course I'll stay, I promised to never leave you." Hugging the woman who was once his he felt her relax and step back to fall on to the bed with him in her arms.

"Would you like to say goodbye to him?" She whispered into hi neck.

With a small nod of his head Octavia's long frizzy hair was cropped short to her head, her soft face hardened slightly and her body seemed to morph into that of a man's.

"Wow." Bucky breathed.

Changing back, with tears in her almond eyes, Octavia rolled over, no longer facing the man. Bucky pulled her into him, spooning her. Running his hand through her hair whispering compliments and sweet nothings to her as she fell asleep.

Across the tower, after everyone had gone to bed, Tony Stark sat watching Peter walk out of the Witch's room with the biggest smile. And he watched Bucky walk into the room, never to leave.

The Witch was not someone he trusted.
