"God dammit I miss him." Aisha thinks out loud, while sitting at her desk, "it's been an entire week, and he hasn't come around, dammit Aisha."

"Miss who, boss?" this came from a best friend and company manager. Nichole has been her best friend from as far back as she could remember, way before the days of her father deciding to become a drunk and abuser she has been friends with this fiery soul. "Wilks, I miss Wilks" Aisha responded quite simply, knowing that Nichole would understand. "But Sha, you told him to stay away, what did you expect?"

"Okay so right now I'm going to need you to go back to being my employee."

"No, what you need right now, is your best friend to remind you that you're an idiot sometimes, like right now." Nichole says plopping her pile of papers onto the table in a failed attempt to mask her frustration. "You can't expect to push people out of your life, slam the door after them, and then ask them to beg you to keep them around. It just isn't done." Aisha looks up a little astonished but mostly frightened, she hasn't seen Nichole this angry in years. She didn't know whether she should still be sitting there or not but god damn she's too terrified to move a muscle. "Now listen to me, 'Boss'", Nichole continues, using air quotes around the word boss, "I'm going to need you to get your head out of your ass, and go after this man if you want him, if not then quite flipping whining."

"Nicky, you know that outburst could cost you your job right?" this came out in a tone so cool, that it is met with deathly silence. Looking her over only once, Nichole walks out of the office, her head high, her behind swinging and indignant etched into the very bone structure of her face.

Hours after her argument with Nichole, Aisha sits in her desk twirling and going over the event in her head. "She's only doing this because she knows that after everything we've gone through together that I won't just get rid of her." At that moment memories start fluttering to the forefront of her mind.

She was 16 again, ever so carefree and trusting. Out with her girlfriends that fateful night, drinking, dancing, partying the night away, when her phone rings, "hello!" she says trying her best not to slur her words. "Princess, what time are you going to be home?" the voice on the other end of the line belonging to her father. You see, her father hasn't always a woman beating, deadbeat drunk. In the time where this memory is set, Shaymus is actually, a loving husband and caring father, but all this is about to change. "We're just about getting ready to leave daddy." Aisha replies as sweetly as she could muster. "Okay princess, tell Nichole to get you home in one piece." Her dad responds laughing and then hangs up.

Barely able to stand on her own Aisha tries to walk towards the car, refusing the helping hand handed to her by Nichole, the only person sensible enough to not drink.

Suddenly, something or rather someone stirs in the shadows beside the car, "me thinks it's a goooood idea to show yourshelf," Aisha slurs; she's been drinking so much for so long that she doesn't even say her words properly. The figure in the shadow hesitates for a moment, "where's your friend?" he asks.

"Gone to round up the others and take us home like a herd of cattle," by this time she isn't even thinking properly anymore, she throws the stranger danger rule out the window together with caution. "Good," says shadow boy, "now we can have some fun," he steps out of the shadows and grabs her by the neck. "Now you gonna be a good little bitch for me right?" Aisha claws at his hands, trying to get out of his grasp, "I.........I....I..... ca....can't bre...breathe..." she barely manages to say as he squeezes the life out of her. "Oops, my bad," an evil smile making it's way to play on his lips, as he uses his other hand to lift her dress up to tap her ass. "I'm gonna take this, because I want it, and you're not going to try stopping me because I will gut you."
