Your foot idly bounced along to the beat of the song. The lyrics filling your head as you causally mouthed along to it. You had always had a passion for music, your father had been very passionate about it. It was the main reason why you were so passionate about it in the first place. You were walking into the academy by yourself today, as Feli and Romano had to get an MOT done on their car, so they would be late to their lessons today.
You quietly began to sing along to song, closing your eyes and letting the music guide you. "You have a pretty good voice, chica" A soft voice appeared next to your ear. You let out a shriek and jumped pushing the voice away from you. You pulled out your ear buds and saw that the person who shocked you so much was none other than Antonio. You hadn't really encountered him before, apprantly he was very nice, according to Feli, Romano in the other hand had a different opinion on him. A rather negative one. "Sorry didn't see you there" You replied hastily, he smiled back you a nice genuine smile that warmed you on the cold morning.
"No worries, I was going to meet up with Matthias and Gilbert since I put my guitar away before music and they have football practice" He said casually "Want to come along? It would be rude of me not to invite you at least" He said cheerfully. You nodded, still not having fully shaken off your sleepiness. So you had Antonio in your music class, interesting. You hadn't had music yet as the teacher who was supposed to run the class was ill and the academy couldn't find a substitute in time.
After a brief walk to the back of the Academy you appeared outside the boys changing room. Antonio seemingly forgot about you as he opened the door and walked straight in, you heard a cheer when Antonio entered and got a sneak peak of some guys in very little clothing. You sighed and leaned against the wall opposite the door to the boys changing room.
Ding!
The notification sound went off on your phone. Fishing it out if your back pocket you saw it was a text... from your mother. You opened it and read what it had to say:
'Hello. I'm struggling to take care of the kids and work. They will be staying at yours for a term or two. I'll have the back by Christmas. Mum.'
You sighed angrily and banged your head against the locker. You were dissapointed to say the least, you loved your siblings dearly you really did and you liked to think you were closer to them than some other siblings were to each other. But your mother was missing out on raising them and actually being their mother. Much like how she had done for you.
You were drawn out of your thoughts by a ruckus coming from inside. Suddenly a boy was pushed outside, followed by some cheers. "Let me in, arschlöcher" The man locked outside of the changing rooms yelled banging his fist on the door. He turned around and you could see it was Gilbert, his hair was still damp from the showers and his shirt was undone, his tie loosely hung around his neck, luckily he had pants on.
"Guten Morgen, Birdie" He greeted, you quickly averted your eyes upward as he turned to face you, giving you full display of his abs. "I usually don't flash first thing in the morning" he joked as he began to button up his shirt, "Good to know" you replied curtly, "I can imagine this might be your first time seeing a giy somewhat naked" he countered cheekily. You smirked at him and met his gaze "I may not fall for your charms but that doesn't mean I haven't had sex" you laughed at his shocked expression which came as soon as it went. Gilbert went back to fiddling with his tie trying to desperately tie it but to no avail. Gradually, he was becoming more and more annoyed at the object, and began go curse at it in English and German.
As funny as it was watching him suffer you decided to put him out if his misery. You sighed and walked up to him, "God this is sad" you mumbled and began to tie his tie for him, he chuckled in defeat his arms going slack by his side. You could feel his ruby eyes burning into you but you ignored them. "There you go boy" you said and stepped back, "Heh, Thanks" he said sheepishly.
Ding! Your phone notification went off again this time it was Eliza: 'Where are you??' You forgot that you two usually met up before school started to get coffee. "Listen I have to go, tell Antonio thanks for keeping me company and the same goes for you too boy" you said sheepishly. You began to walk off when Gilbert called after you "I think you mean man" "No, I mean boy you helped back. You both laughed yet neither one of you could hear the other.
After meeting up with Eliza you headed to music, your favourite lesson. You didn't like to do it often but you were quite good a singing. That is according to Romano who was the only one you had sung in front of, you hadn't realised Feli was listening in until you had finished. He was uncannily sneaky. You didn't really capitalise on it, after all this wasn't some shitty fan fiction and you were now damsel in distress whose talent would save them. You could save yourself.
The music room was in one if the attic rooms of the academy. There were three in total one for art and the other dance, this was too acomadate for the equipment needed. After climbing what seemed a thousand flight of stairs. You reached the oak door that has music engraved into it in blue letters, and pushed it open. The room itself was impressive with several famous musicians from different eras posters on the walls and several musical instruments. The walls weren't to high and curved at the ceiling to form a sort of some shape and the carpet was fuzzy as if it had just been cleaned.
Noticing you were one of the first people in the lesson, you took a towards the corner of the room. However, you were shocked when a voice seemingly appeared out of thin air. "Hello, I'm Matthew you must be the new girl".

*All chapter beyond this one and including this one do not need to be rewritten*Finally everything I wrote before has been rewritten and now we can go forward with this story.
With that being said hello dear readers it's been a long time since I talks do you guys and I missed reading your feedback. You may be wondering why I rewrote 'The Change' and didn't keep it as it was. Simply the answer is, I grew up. I met knew people and began to realise it unhealthy to categorise people by cliques and that certain fandom stereotypes are harmful to certain characters and fans of those characters which even I'm guilty of contributing to, not to my knowledge at the time tho.
I want to let my younger readers know that if you do hate secondary school (middle school) college and uni are so much better and just focus on your work because you will get to wear you want to go.
