"i feel like we were just at an airport...oh right, we were," my dad said. we were waiting by our gate to go to los angeles. zach and his family were waiting with us.

"if you don't want me to go, i won't," i told him.

"i was just joking sweetie. i know you don't wanna stay here and be bored the next couple weeks. and i know you miss jonah."

"yeah i do."

"we're gonna head out, we still have some shopping to do," myta said.

"yeah, i need to head back to work," my dad said. they all said goodbye to zach and i then left us alone.

"you wanna go buy some snacks or something?" zach asked.

"yeah sure." we got up and headed towards one of the stores in the airport. we bought some snacks and drinks then went back to the waiting area by our gate.

zach wrapped his arm around my shoulders and i leaned on him as i went through social media and texted london and christina.

christina and i were kind of in an argument. she thought that i got back together with zach too soon.

"how much time till we board?" i asked zach.

"about twenty minutes," he said.

"okay, i'm gonna go to the bathroom."

i stood up and walked away, calling christina.

"aren't you on a plane?" she asked.

"not yet."

"oh. well like i was saying, i just think it would've been better to take some time for yourself before you jumped right back in with him."

"i didn't want to take another break thought. i was ready to get back with him and so was he."

"was he?"

"yes."

"liza-"

"we're fine. we're doing good right now and if we have a problem we'll fix it because that's what we've done in the past. i appreciate your concern but i really don't need you telling me what to do in my relationship." she sighed.

"you're right, i shouldn't be telling you what to do. i'm just trying to give you my opinion on the situation."

"but i don't want your opinion. i really do appreciate you trying to help, but i don't need it."

"okay."

"are we good?"

"yeah sure."

"okay good. i'm sorry that you don't agree with me. but i'm hoping that he learned from his mistakes as i did and we can go about our problems differently in the future. and i believe we can."

"alright."

"so i'll talk to you later?"

"yeah sure."

"okay bye." i hung up and headed back to zach to see him standing in line to board.

"you good?"

"yeah i got a phone call sorry."

"it's okay." we handed the flight attendant our boarding passes then went through the gate. zach slipped his hand into mine, intertwining our fingers.

we found our seats and sat down, getting settled before take off.

"jonah said he'd pick us up," zach told me as we walked off of the plane.

"okay." he had his arm wrapped around my shoulders as we walked towards baggage claim.
